KakiList is Singapore's verified directory of home and family service providers. We help homeowners find trusted help by connecting them directly with vetted providers — with no middleman fees, no paid placements, and no lead-selling to the highest bidder.
We maintain three types of content:
Every price range in our cost guides is derived from three data sources combined:
We separate list price (what the provider quotes) from net cost after subsidy where applicable. Prices are refreshed at least annually.
Each provider listed on KakiList is checked for:
Providers without valid business registration or required trade licensing are not listed. Providers with consistent negative review patterns on specific issues (no-shows, deposit theft, unsafe work) are flagged for review and may be removed.
Our "Best X in Singapore" pages and "Top-rated providers" blocks are algorithmically ranked using a combination of:
We do not accept payment for ranking. We do not rank providers by who pays us most (we don't charge providers listing fees). Ranking updates with each Google review refresh.
Every guide page shows a "Last updated" date in its header. Content is reviewed and refreshed:
All guide and article content is produced by the KakiList Editorial Team — a small team of Singapore-based writers and editors focused on home and family services. When specific regulatory changes or specialist medical/legal content are discussed (TCM, special-needs therapy, confinement care, funeral rites), we cross-reference guidance from the relevant statutory body (TCMPB, NCSS, SG Funeral Directors Association, etc.) rather than inventing claims.
We do not currently publish individual author bylines for guide pages because each page is a collaborative effort across research, writing, and verification. Where a single practitioner or expert has reviewed a piece for accuracy, we credit them by name on that page.
KakiList is free for homeowners. We do not charge platform fees, booking fees, or lead-selling commissions. Our revenue comes from optional premium placements purchased by individual providers (clearly labelled as Sponsored / Featured on relevant pages) and from partnership arrangements with complementary service platforms. Editorial content is not influenced by sponsor relationships — providers do not pay to appear in guide pages, Best-Of lists, or Top 5 rankings.
