About A Better Florist Singapore

About A Better Florist Singapore

A Better Florist Singapore is a floral services provider operating islandwide from its Dunlop Street address. The listing has been verified by KakiList, though no ACRA registration has been confirmed. Its Google rating of 2.7 across 282 reviews is a notably large sample and should be weighed carefully by prospective customers before booking.

For floral orders, the process typically begins by enquiring about your event date, the occasion (wedding, baby full-month, corporate, birthday, or everyday gifting), and the style or colour palette you have in mind. For wedding work — bridal bouquets, aisle arrangements, table centrepieces, and arch installations — lead time of 4–8 weeks is advisable for bespoke designs, with earlier contact recommended for peak wedding Saturdays in March, April, October, and November. For everyday arrangements and smaller events, one to two weeks is generally sufficient. Confirm the package scope in writing: which pieces are included, whether delivery and setup are covered, the delivery window, and any travel surcharge for non-central venues.

To take the next step, contact A Better Florist Singapore directly at their Dunlop Street location to discuss your brief, confirm availability for your date, and request a written quotation detailing all deliverables and the deposit and balance schedule before committing.

I am extremely disappointed with the outcome of my bouquets for my mom & mom-in-law for Mother's Day! Please see how much the flowers cost, the pictures of what was promised, and what were actually delivered. & i had to receive the flowers BEFORE being informed that it won't be what i expected! This is unacceptable! Do you think these tiny bouquets cost $114 & $93 each? Horrible!!! I could've chosen other flower companies, but I had faith in you A Better Florist! What a scam!!!

They do not deserve a single star. Absolutely ridiculous product and service. The fruits were ripe (and some were starting to rot), and to add to the insult, the kiwis weren't even removed from their original packaging. You can also see the tape that was used to keep the fruit in place, it was done without much care, thought or effort - a five year old could do a better job than this. Utterly disgusting florist - when we called to complain - they simply brushed us off and offered us a 10% discount on our next order.

Ordered this bouquet worth 96bucks for my mom's bday on 27July 2021. It was a total mistake and disaster! See the collage reality vs expectation! The dehydrated overly bloomed flowers look horrible and im sad my mom had to see it. I even had to chat with their customer service on their website at least 3x to track the delivery status. Supposed to be delivered btn 12nn-3pm. My mom got it only at 5pm. When i saw the horrendous sad looking flowers, i emailed them to feedback. They said the following: 1) "Our florists are trained well in recreating the arrangements according to the specifications of the pictures. As we are dealing with fragile flowers, occasionally, there are instances that the flower would naturally degrade when exposed to the elements!" So they are telling me our singapore weather caused the flowers to degrade?! I believed it was the bad quality of the flowers plus the delivery person did not handle them well before handling to customers. 2) "Although the situation appears bleak, we can assure you that the flowers have passed quality control." This sound like nonsense.... how can it pass QC when the flowers are all overbloomed and dull looking?! Thatz was all the excuses they gave, with no intention to replace another fresh bouquet. Instead they gave me a discount code 20% off future orders! Seriously who would order from them again after thid bad experience! I hope nobody order from them and waste precious money!

Plenty of one star reviews, and self created fake 5star reviews. Consumers please read and review the photos of the actual flowers vs photos, I'll give credits where it's due. Firstly, delivery was very late on Valentines Day. Secondly, the flowers delivered are rotting, tettered, does not look like the ones I ordered. It was utterly disappointing to my wife who was expecting a better looking bouquet. There was no follow-up from abetterflorist after contacting them. I would revisit this review to add on if I get a response from them.

It was a mistake, ordering the fruit basket from A Better Florist. The basket looked very cheap and not at all presentable. It was totally unsafe to hold the basket as the wood was coming out and it could pierce in your hand. It's nowhere closer to the image shown in the website.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does A Better Florist Singapore charge?

Floral pricing varies significantly by scope. Bridal bouquets in Singapore typically run S$120–350, aisle pew arrangements S$30–80 each, table centrepieces S$80–250 each, and arch or backdrop installations S$600–2,500+. Everyday arrangements and gift bouquets generally fall in the S$60–180 range. A Better Florist Singapore uses package-based pricing, so confirm exactly which pieces are included in the quoted price. Itemise the following before paying: delivery and setup fees (especially for venues outside the central region), any travel surcharge, deposit required on booking (typically 30–50% for wedding and event work), balance schedule, and GST if applicable. How far ahead should I book A Better Florist Singapore?

For wedding florals — bouquets, ceremony arrangements, and reception centrepieces — 4–8 weeks ahead is a minimum, and 3–6 months is safer for peak Saturdays in March, April, October, and November, when florists across Singapore are heavily booked. Popular dates can fill months out, so confirm availability early and lock it in with a deposit and written contract. For baby full-month, birthday, or corporate events, 2–4 weeks is usually sufficient. Everyday bouquets and gift arrangements can often be turned around in 1–3 days. Confirm whether your chosen date is firm the moment you pay the deposit, and ask about the florist's wet-weather or last-minute contingency policy for outdoor setups.

What does the deposit cover and what's the cancellation policy at A Better Florist Singapore?

Singapore floral industry standard is a 30–50% deposit on signing to secure the date and begin sourcing flowers, with the balance typically due 1–2 weeks before the event. Confirm in writing what the deposit covers — date hold, design consultation, sample stems, or mock-up arrangements — and whether it is refundable or transferable if you cancel or reschedule. Most florists treat deposits as non-refundable once flowers have been ordered from suppliers, as perishable stock cannot be returned. Ask specifically about the rescheduling policy if your event date changes, and whether public liability insurance is held for installations at HDB void decks, condo function rooms, or hotel venues that may require a copy of the certificate before setup is permitted.
