My experience with this law firm was extremely disappointing. I approached the firm as a distressed client seeking legal assistance and believed I would receive clear advice on the work to be performed, the expected outcome, and the costs involved. Instead, I later found myself in a dispute over what was included in the scope of work. In my view, a law firm should clearly set out the scope of work in writing before requesting payment. Clients should not have to rely on verbal explanations or assumptions. The scope should specify exactly what work will be done, what is excluded, and what additional costs may arise before make the payment . I was particularly disappointed to be told that I did not understand the legal work involved. As a client, I engaged lawyers precisely because I am not a legal professional. It is the lawyer's responsibility to explain the scope of work, limitations, and likely next steps in a clear and transparent manner. Looking back, I felt that my concerns and objectives were not properly addressed. I paid for legal assistance in good faith but was left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and unsupported. This review reflects my personal experience. Future clients should ensure that every aspect of the engagement, scope of work, fees, and expected deliverables is clearly documented in writing before making payment.
