I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Shakirin lawyer and his team for their outstanding assistance in handling my property sales. After the completion of my property sale, there was an issue regarding the refund of excess property tax. Although IRAS had already refunded the amount to the buyer, the buyer repeatedly delayed returning the refund that rightfully belonged to me. After numerous follow-ups by the law firm, the buyer eventually returned only the amount received from IRAS. However, that refund had already been deducted by the portion of property tax attributable to the buyer's ownership period, which should have been borne by the buyer and not deducted from my refund. Despite extensive correspondence and negotiations, the buyer remained unwilling to reimburse the outstanding balance. To bring the matter to a proper conclusion, Shakirin lawyer took the extraordinary step of advancing the outstanding amount to me first, while continuing to pursue the matter separately with IRAS and the buyer's solicitors. Throughout the entire process, Shakirin lawyer and his team demonstrated professionalism, patience, dedication, and a genuine commitment to protecting their client's interests. They went above and beyond what I expected and ensured that the matter was resolved fairly. I am truly grateful for their support and would highly recommend Shakirin and his team to anyone seeking reliable and responsible legal services.
