I seem Dr Tan since my teenager year to now more than 17 years. He understands our conditions when not fully recovered he will asked you come back again to see him without charging extra sometimes. Since his clinic reduce to smaller size but he still help us whenever we can. He is more patient , understanding doctor in the most GPs doctor in AMK area. Where to find this good doctor ? 🧑‍⚕️

Dear Dr Tan and Team at AMK Family Clinic, I would like to sincerely thank you for the care and professionalism you extended during my recent visit. I had been battling food poisoning for nearly a week, and during my Thursday evening consultation, Dr Tan was not only thorough and patient, but also genuinely concerned about my well-being. He took the time to understand my condition, provided clear and detailed explanations of the prescribed medication, and advised me to seek emergency care if symptoms worsened. What truly stood out was the warmth and kindness I received from the staff as well. The two aunties at the counter were incredibly thoughtful patiently explaining my medication intervals and even helping me with an offset through my CHAS card benefits. Despite some of the negative reviews about waiting time, my experience was nothing short of excellent and heartfelt. To my surprise and deep appreciation, Dr Tan personally called the following morning to check on my condition. That extra gesture touched me deeply, it showed a rare level of dedication and care. Very cramped clinic, no place to stand at all. Very long wait when there were few patients, yet when it was my turn, doc was trying to cut short the consult. Will not be back. First time here, had to register. Showed my singpass IC on my phone, recept asked where's my physical IC. I said in my wallet in my bag, but doesn't the soft copy IC suffice? Recept wanted to touch my phone, I had to tell her not to touch my phone. Waited for close to 1 hour despite there being only 1 other person in front of me. While seeing the doc in his room, he checked my temperature, my throat, my blood pressure, and listened to my lungs. I told him I feel miserable, give me as many days medical leave as possible. He commented "not calling you MC queen or anything". I thought that was quite uncalled for, especially since patient is right in front of you and already quite miserable. Within a few minutes, he was trying to end the consult. But not before doing a self-plug and telling me that his clinic has been operating for 20 years in amk. Meds he prescribed were standard but didnt alleviate my symptoms. I had to consult another doc 2 days later, who gave me better meds for symptomatic relief.

Previous clinic situated at where Saizeriya is located now. The move to this 712 is smaller. Patients are to wait outside which I think is good as open air area. Front counter girl is efficient and explains with patience. Dr Melvin give detailed explanation and give further advice.
