About "Ananias Centre Student Care"
Ananias Centre Student Care is a student care provider located at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1, offering its services islandwide. It is KakiList verified and ACRA registered. The centre carries a Google rating of 2.4 out of 5, though this is based on only 7 reviews — too small a sample to draw firm conclusions — and prospective families should weigh it accordingly. Fees are priced at the mid-range tier on a monthly recurring basis.
Families considering student care should begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as places can be limited. It is advisable to arrange a visit to the centre to meet the staff, understand the daily routine, and assess the environment before committing. During that visit, ask about the student-to-staff ratio, homework supervision arrangements, enrichment activities, and the settling-in process for new pupils. Singapore citizen children may be eligible for ECDA subsidies depending on household income and the mother's working status — confirm with the centre or check the ECDA website for current qualifying criteria.
To take the next step, contact Ananias Centre Student Care directly by phone or through the enquiry form on KakiList to ask about current vacancy for your child's intended start month and to arrange a centre visit. Summary based on 7 Google reviews.
My children(adults now) are still suffering bad flash backs from their time at Annanais (@salvation army headquarters)when they were in lower primary. The supervisors ( both husband - pastor and his wife) are both very pretentious- very nice in front of parents but treat the kids horrible. However, some of the staff are very dedicated and good to the students.
Nice child Care centre based on christian values
Very commited teachers over there

Ananias Centre Student Care operates on a monthly recurring fee model, displayed at the mid-range price tier. To get the precise monthly figure, contact the centre directly, as published rates can vary by age group and programme type. Beyond the monthly fee, ask about any one-off registration fee, a deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees), and costs for uniforms or personal accident insurance. Childcare and student care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted monthly amount should be the amount you pay. Always request a written fee schedule and review the parent contract carefully before signing. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in ECDA-licensed student care centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$300 per month for childcare, subject to household income. Working mothers who clock at least 56 hours of work per month may also qualify for the Additional Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy, and lower-income families can apply for the Additional Subsidy, which can bring the combined subsidy to up to S$710 per month. Permanent resident children receive partial subsidies at lower quantum. However, subsidy eligibility and quantum are subject to ECDA review and may change. It is important to confirm directly with ECDA whether this specific centre qualifies, as subsidies are only disbursed at licensed centres — and Ananias Centre Student Care does not currently list an ECDA licence in its public record. Contact ECDA at www.ecda.gov.sg for the most current figures and eligibility conditions.
Demand for student care places in Singapore, particularly in popular housing estates such as Ang Mo Kio, can be competitive. While infant care centres often require families to enquire 6 to 12 months in advance, student care places typically have a shorter lead time, though this varies by centre and intake period. The primary peak intake month is January, aligned with the school year, so families targeting a January start should enquire by September or October at the latest. To secure a place, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Contact Ananias Centre Student Care directly by phone or through the enquiry form to check current availability for your child's intended start date, and ask what steps are needed to reserve a slot.
