About Apex Day Rehabilitation Centre

About Apex Day Rehabilitation Centre

Apex Day Rehabilitation Centre is a senior daycare provider located at Bukit Merah View, offering services islandwide. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. With only 8 Google reviews at a rating of 3.6 out of 5, this sample is too small to draw reliable conclusions about service quality, and prospective clients should treat the rating as directional only. No regulatory licences — such as AIC or MOH registration — are recorded on this listing, which is noted as a concern.

Families considering day rehabilitation for an elderly relative will typically begin with a care assessment covering the senior's mobility, medical conditions, and social needs, before determining the hours and days required each week. A visit to the Bukit Merah View centre is advisable so families can observe the rehabilitation activities, speak with staff about the therapist-to-client ratio, and confirm whether the programme supports conditions such as post-stroke recovery, dementia, or general deconditioning. It is worth clarifying whether physiotherapy, occupational therapy, or other clinical services are integrated into the day programme, and what the daily routine looks like. Discuss transport arrangements, meal provision, and the process for reviewing care plans as the senior's needs change.

To take the next step, contact Apex Day Rehabilitation Centre by phone or via the enquiry form to arrange a centre visit, discuss your relative's specific care needs, and request a written fee schedule before committing.

Thank you so much to Nellie and all of the staffs for being so nice and kind and loving and caring and helpful to my mother while she is doing activities in the care centre and even they all have celebrating her birthday for her and make her feel very happy on her birthday.

Wasted $45 for nothing... they asked me to sign an indemnity clause mentioning that they'll not take responsibility for any mishap during transportation or during the session. Took me to see the manager who couldn't be bothered to understand the situation nor explain. Ignorance. Eventually I left without signing up for it. None of these is worth the risk of sending your elderly to a centre like this.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Apex Day Rehabilitation Centre charge?

Apex Day Rehabilitation Centre does not publish a price list on this listing, and fees for senior daycare and day rehabilitation in Singapore vary considerably depending on the level of clinical support provided, the number of days attended per week, and whether transport is included. As a general market reference, day rehabilitation centre fees in Singapore typically range from around S$50 to S$150 per day before subsidies, with live-in or extended-hours arrangements priced differently. Additional costs to clarify in writing include transport fees, meal charges, consumables, public holiday surcharges, and any assessment or registration fees. Eligible Singapore citizens and permanent residents may qualify for MOH-funded subsidies that substantially reduce out-of-pocket costs. Contact Apex Day Rehabilitation Centre directly for a personalised fee breakdown. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →

Live-in or visit-based — which does Apex Day Rehabilitation Centre offer?

Apex Day Rehabilitation Centre operates as a senior day rehabilitation centre, meaning seniors attend during the day and return home in the evenings — this is a visit-based, centre-based model rather than a live-in arrangement. Families considering live-in or residential care would need to look at nursing homes or home care agencies for those components. For day rehabilitation specifically, it is worth confirming the operating hours, the number of days per week available, and whether the programme can be adjusted as the senior's rehabilitation progresses. Ask about the trial period policy, what happens if the senior's condition changes significantly, and how the centre handles situations where a family feels the programme is not the right fit. A transparent replacement or exit process is a reasonable expectation.

Is the caregiver trained and insured?

No regulatory licences — such as AIC (Agency for Integrated Care) or MOH registration — are recorded on this listing for Apex Day Rehabilitation Centre. For any eldercare setting providing rehabilitation services, you would expect qualified staff such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, or trained care assistants, and ideally AIC registration if the centre receives government subsidies. Confirm staff qualifications and professional registrations directly with the centre before enrolment. On the insurance side, ask whether the centre holds public liability insurance covering incidents involving clients during the day programme, and what the protocol is if a senior falls or becomes unwell on the premises. Getting these assurances in writing, along with the care plan and agreed fee schedule, is strongly advisable before committing. Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
