About APSN Student Care Centre

APSN Student Care Centre is a student care provider located at Chai Chee Community Hub in Ubi, offering islandwide coverage and verified on KakiList with a confirmed ACRA registration. The centre holds a Google rating of 3.8 out of 5, though this is based on 28 reviews — a moderate sample size, so treat it as directional rather than definitive. Families considering student care should begin by enquiring about available slots for their child's intended start month, as places can fill quickly. It is advisable to arrange a centre visit to observe the daily routine, understand how staff manage children with diverse learning needs, and ask about the settling-in period. APSN has a particular focus on supporting students with special educational needs, so parents should discuss their child's specific requirements with the centre team ahead of enrolment. To take the next step, contact APSN Student Care Centre directly via phone or the online enquiry form to check current vacancy, confirm monthly fees, and arrange a visit to the Chai Chee Community Hub centre before committing to enrolment.

What reviewers say about APSN Student Care Centre

Summary based on 28 Google reviews.

The cafe staff received mixed feedback regarding service quality and communication. Some customers reported rude interactions and inconsistent order fulfillment, with staff making dismissive comments despite available inventory, while others praised helpful staff who went beyond expectations by providing complimentary water. The adult training centre faced criticism from trainees regarding discipline practices, alleged pocket money deductions for tardiness, and insufficient instructor support, though the facility itself offers useful conference spaces and operates in collaboration with Aston's Western food chain to provide employment training for disabled individuals.

The students were nice and polite. However the cafe work staff was extremely rude when clarifying our enquiries on our orders by giving unacceptable excuses of priority given to the student but those order later than me got their order before me.He also make unacceptable comments such as ordering what, nothing to order when there were still bakes available.

Please support this APSN centre near Eunos MRT at Jalan Ubi (between Sims Avenue and Changi Road), opposite Kampong Ubi CC. It is located inside a gated compound just next to Willing Hearts where volunteers prepare and cook food for the less fortunate. APSN is a collaboration with Aston’s, the Western food chain. They serve Western food and provides training jobs for the disabled. I find the quality of food here excellent 👍🏼! Love their char-grilled chicken chop. The manager and trainees are very courteous and friendly, making me feel welcome very time. Due to Covid, they are only catering for take away now on weekdays. The traffic has also come down drastically and at most times when I visit now, it’s either I don’t see other customers or just one other customer buying take away. Due to Low traffic, they are reducing the choice of sides and I can see the operations is struggling. I greatly admire this meaningful place that helps the mildly disabled bros and sis appreciate their self worth and grow their confidence to live a normal life. Please support with your take away and/or donation at their donation box! Thank you 🙏🏼.

One of the spaces has been rented out for a conference I attended. Quite good spaces for that, plenty of chair and tables, a whole wall just covered in whiteboard, and great staff: when I asked where I can buy a bottle of water, they said they didn't sell any inside, but they gave me a sealed bottle from their own reserve.

Exact monthly fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the centre, as rates can vary depending on the programme and the child's needs. In addition to the monthly fee, families should ask about a registration fee and a deposit, which is typically equivalent to one to two months of fees. Uniform and insurance costs may also apply. What subsidies can I claim at APSN Student Care Centre?

Singapore citizen children enrolled in a registered student care centre may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$300 per month, subject to means-testing and programme type. Working mothers who work at least 56 hours per month may qualify for the additional Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy, and lower-income households may access further means-tested support through the Additional Subsidy, which can bring the combined monthly subsidy to up to S$710 or more depending on household income. To secure a place, you will typically be asked to pay a registration fee and a deposit once a slot is confirmed. Contact the centre directly by phone or via the enquiry form to ask about current availability, the waiting list process, and any assessment or referral requirements that may apply before a child is accepted into the programme.
