Fantastic swimmming facility and friendly staff. Itβs also cheap so no excuse not to use it! I swam at the competition pool and it was mind blowing how beautiful and peaceful it is. They allow paddles, fins, etc no pull buoys or boards like most swimming facilities here so come prepared. Lockers are free and rely on setting your own code. Competition pool schedule is smaller than training pool so be aware of this. Itβs near the mall so easy to load up on delicious food after swim!
I spent some time swimming in the poolβ50 meters of peace and quiet. The pool was super clean, and the safety guards were on top of everything, keeping an eye out for swimmers. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience smooth. The changing room was spotless, and the lockers use combination locks, so no need for coins or tokens. I was there for about 90 minutes, and at most, there were two people in my lane, so there is plenty of space to swim. The pool's covered, so no risk of sunburn, which is a bonus. The water temperature is on the cooler side, perfect for those coming from colder placesβlocals sometimes wear wetsuits, but for anyone from a chillier climate, itβs just right.
The OCBC Aquatics Competition Pool stands out as the top pool in Singapore, offering superior water quality compared to other public pools with barely any chlorine smell. Additionally, the female changing rooms closer to the competition pool are impressively spacious, equipped with ample lockers and shower rooms. A major highlight is the availability of hot showers, enhancing the overall experience. However, the hair dryers could see some improvement, but considering the reasonable cost of less than $3, itβs not a significant issue. Training Pool -1.35-2.0m Competition Pool -3m
Good sport spot. Unfirtunately Singaporean not visiting sports games even if it is a world championship.
World-class Aquatic Centre which was an excellent venue for hosting the current World Aquatics Championships 2025!
