New patients typically begin with a first consultation during which the chiropractor takes a case history, assesses posture and range of motion, and discusses presenting concerns such as back pain, neck stiffness, headaches, or postural issues. Based on the initial assessment, a care plan is proposed — this may involve a course of sessions or a maintenance schedule, depending on the condition and goals. It is worth asking about session duration, adjustment techniques used (manual vs instrument-assisted), and the cancellation policy before committing to a package.

I came in with lower back pain and stiffness, and after a few adjustments by Dr Ken, my pain went away. I was able to move better and exercise better too. I also had some right wrist problem where it would get achy and stiff whenever I rotate it, but Dr Ken was able to get it moving properly and smoothly again. He is a real professional who has deep knowledge about the human spine. Strongly recommend Asia One Chiropractic!
I’ve been coming for regular adjustments under Dr John for the past 3 years and it definitely has made a significant improvement in my posture and my overall well-being (used to have headaches often, back pains & tingling sensations in my hands which all links back to our spine). As an athlete, it helped me perform better too! Sachi also makes my scheduling of appointments super easy & flexible hehe!

A GP referral is not required to book a chiropractic consultation in Singapore — you can contact Asia One Chiropractic (Somerset 100AM) directly. The first visit typically involves a detailed intake form covering medical history, current medications, previous injuries, and the presenting complaint, followed by a physical assessment. If you have a complex spinal condition, have recently had surgery, or intend to claim under insurance or Medisave, a referral letter from your GP or specialist may be useful. Chiropractic treatment is generally not claimable under MediShield Life, but some integrated shield plans and corporate insurance policies do cover it — check your policy before booking.
Chiropractic practice in Singapore is not yet regulated under a statutory board equivalent to the Allied Health Professions Council or the Singapore Medical Council — there is currently no mandatory government licence for chiropractors. Credentialling therefore relies on voluntary signals: a degree from an accredited chiropractic institution (such as those accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education International), membership of the Chiropractic Association of Singapore, and professional indemnity insurance. No regulatory licences are listed for Asia One Chiropractic (Somerset 100AM) in the current KakiList data. Before your first appointment, ask the consulting chiropractor for their degree institution, any postgraduate certifications, and whether they carry professional indemnity cover. Confirm the practitioner's credentials directly before treatment.
