Currently working with the Property Support Team at Attorneys Inc for purchase of EC. We were recommended to go with them by our property agents, but are discovering that it is a huge *mistake*. First, they did not provide us with prompt updates even when reminded. They request docs from us, ignore our responses (even when we ask for confirmation of receipt, and to check if these have been sent over to the developer’s solicitors), forget that we have already provided a response, and chase us for the very same thing we sent months ago. Their job includes postboxing between us and the developer’s solicitors. But, they sit on documents received from the developer’s solicitors and only send them to us 2-3 business days after receipt. This eats into our timeline for response, and Attorney’s Inc is not at all apologetic about it. They are also tardy in liaising with the developers solicitors. We sent them a request for certain forms from developer’s solicitors, but think they sat on this request. We chased them 17 days after our initial request, and finally got a response on the 22nd day. When we asked for a reason for the delay from Malcolm, the manager of the client development team, we got blue ticked and didn’t get a response. These are terrible timelines + super bad client management etiquette for a law firm. Would NOT recommend working with them for property transactions (this seems to be a common thread in the other reviews). Experience so far has been stressful (you have to be v proactive to prompt them despite them being the service provider) and far from smooth. Would like to see if any of our feedback is addressed. — Edited to address response below: To be clear, my feedback was not with respect to timelines "breached". It was directed at the lack of communication and what felt like poor client management with regards to our request for further documents, as well as the repeated requests for documents from us that we had already sent over much earlier. Nonetheless, I do appreciate the service commitment and hope things will proceed more smoothly from here on out.

Very disappointing communication. Long periods of silence, need to chase and chase for updates, and little proactive support. Even obvious administrative mistakes were not pointed out before processing. Susan was helpful, but the overall service from the BD team fell well below expectations.

My Mum had recently passed on and living in France, I do not have a Testament here in Singapore, I was advised to make one. I was introduced to Attorneys Inc. LLC (Suntec Office). I met up with Michelle Tan the first time to explain my situation and my needs to be done. Very professional, warm welcome and she took time to make note of each question that I had. The meeting took a little more time than expected as she had to explain the laws that I do not know and share anymore. Incredibly patient, even after drawing up the Testament, she explained thoroughly everything. My first range of attorneys now.

I recently engaged this law firm to assist with the purchase of a private property. Overall, they handled the legal aspects of the transaction competently, ensuring the process went smoothly. However, I noticed room for improvement in their responsiveness to emails and the clarity of their communication. At times, follow-ups were necessary to receive timely responses, and some emails lacked the expected professionalism and precision. That said, they were knowledgeable and got the job done. With refinements in their communication practices, they could enhance their service significantly.
