Overpriced and overconfident staff from Bethesda Medical. Overall a disappointing experience at 38 Margaret Drive. Prices increased too quickly and service can’t match with their asking. Poor ventilation. Medical group relies on their tenants to bring crowd in. Fruits are better at nearby Sheng Shiong.

The staff at MARGARET Bethesda Medical are very polite n demure. Special mention must be made about Phyu n Winnie. They were patient in every way. Phyu really exemplifies her culture of patience n soft spokeness. She displayed her competence by saying that i m likely the scheduled customer. She readily printed out the name label for my urine n stool containers. Winnie the staff who tested my eyesight spirometry, bmi, eye pressure and ecg was very patient and carefully explained every test. She clarified in detail how she read the spirometry readings. That really blew me off. Never ever in my 15yrs of annual screening any technician would explain the technical points. Winner also help me to scroll the year of birth in the health survey form. When i entered another room for blood test, i was surprised that it was not a dracula. Instead it was another demure Dr Chen. She patiently constricted my arm before drawing some blood samples. She carefully listened to my heart n lungs using stenstoscope and lightly pressed my stomach to detect for any abnormalities. Dr Chen also asked about my health conditions and scrolled through my last year s screening report. She advised me to do a treadmill ecg on knowing that i m a seasoned marathon runner. She clarified the difference of static n dynamic ecg readings. She also took my bp n commented as good systolic readings but said diastolic was rather high. The radiography staff taking my xray was efficient and courteous. No frills action done in less than 5mins. I would highly recommend anyone to do their health screening at Margaret branch of Bethesda Medical, especially those who are doing it the first time. Since this branch has all female staff, it would be most appealing for female customer ie patients. I recommended this to my wife and other female colleagues n friends. Incompetent reception staff. We needed a doctor urgently, we called at 11:40am to check if they were open and they told us to come by 12:30pm. We rushed down and arrived at 12:05pm only for them to refuse to see us because 12pm is the cut off. Why didn’t they tell us that over the phone then?? Receptionist was rude and afraid to ask the doctor “doctor will scold me” was what they kept repeating even though we literally rushed down because she told us we could come over the phone

I had a great experience at Bethesda clinic at Margaret. Dr. Chen is very patient and clearly experienced, she took the time to explain everything in detail and made me feel comfortable throughout the consultation. The clinic staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole process smooth and pleasant. I visited under my corporate insurance and really appreciated the fully cashless service. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for professional and hassle-free medical care!

was sick and visited this clinic, only to find out the doctor was on urgent leave. that’s understandable, but the receptionist was rude and unprofessional.
