Its Google rating stands at 1.6 out of 5 across 11 reviews; given the small sample size, this figure should be treated as directional only. The centre charges on a monthly recurring basis at a mid-range price point.
Families considering student care typically begin by enquiring about available slots for their child's intended start month, as places can fill quickly, particularly at the start of the school year in January. When you reach out, it is worth asking about the daily routine, homework supervision arrangements, the staff-to-child ratio, and the settling-in process for new pupils. Parents of Singapore citizen children should also ask about ECDA subsidies, which can meaningfully reduce out-of-pocket monthly fees depending on household income and the mother's working status.
The most practical next step is to contact Big Heart Student Care directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check current slot availability for your child's level and intended start date, and to arrange a visit to the centre before committing. Listing data is incomplete — contact "Big Heart Student Care" directly to confirm details.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

Testimonial on their web is all good review wandering all this is writen by their own? My son was in this child care and my son having mild ADHD, my son is currently on his medication on school and his child care. When I was sending my son to the child care on holiday periods one of the teacher who came out and asked did my son took his medicine already when my answer was NO at that time, the teacher shake her head and mumble omg right in front of me as a parent. I wonder is this how you guy train all this young teacher like this? And more to come when all the young teacher cant even handle kid at the age of 7-8yr old. ADHD kid sometime after their medicine effect over they became more active where by they will go and disturb other but the teacher in the child care cant even handle it and think that ADHD kid is a very problematic kid to handle and unwillingly to handle. When I spoke to the teacher over there they can even tell me that they will train their teacher so does this mean BIG HEART CHILD CARE teacher has no experience and well train before they become a teacher there? Most of the parent have been complaining about this. Once the teacher cant handle my son they will put him alone there to let him. What he wanna do and when my son went to disturb other it will become my son fault. Even the teacher own up that they will put my son alone when they cant handle him. As a parent we are working that is why we trust child care teacher to look after and guide the kid correct way but now incident happen my son will need to nare full consequences and now have to withdraw him out. I writing this review here to let all the parent know that if u want to find a good child care with good teacher PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER BIG HEART IN YOUR OPTIONS ESPECIALLY PARENT HAVE KID WITH ADHD because the thing they will do when they cant handle is leave your kid alone at a corner and neglect them. I dont mind the HQ personnel to give me a call. I reall feel disappointed how they treated my son in Big heart "west side" and feel uncomfortable with non experience and training teacher.
Very bad experience Firstly, there is a high turnover of teachers, which results in parents having to repeatedly communicate the same concerns to different staff members. This inconsistency makes it difficult to establish trust and ensure that children’s needs are properly addressed. More alarmingly, there have been incidents where teachers have physically handled children inappropriately, including pulling and hitting them, leading to visible bruises. Such actions are completely unacceptable and raise serious concerns about the safety and emotional well-being of the children. Additionally, some teachers engage in silent bullying, which sets a negative example for the students. This behavior has influenced other children, leading to unfair blame being placed on certain students without proper understanding of the situation. Another critical issue is that teachers have, without parental consent, instructed children to leave school earlier than scheduled. This has resulted in children returning home without access to their house, as their parents were not yet home. Such actions not only put the children at risk but also demonstrate a lack of responsibility and coordination with families.
I regret enroll my child in big heart. Notice period indicate one month and as we understand one month is 30days but not to them. I got no choice to withdraw my child immediately and she attended only 4days in that month (1days mc n 2 day is weekend, 1day back to big heart). Big heart still charge as 1month. All they can say is policy. They dont count prorates. They should charge base on service is rendered. 4days is not break-even to charge 1month.
Bad experience with the people handling things there doing last minute things after people had register then told me the documents is not valid for subsidiaries and told me to pay another $500 plus if I still wanted to let my child enroll even when I say I don't wan they say the registration fee of $65 is not refundable when they even did not check the documents thoroughly before registration doubt they can even handle kids well by their way of doing last minute things
Caring and supportive!

Big Heart Student Care charges on a monthly recurring basis at a mid-range price point, indicated by the $$ pricing tier. Beyond the monthly fee itself, families should confirm whether a registration fee applies upon enrolment, as well as a deposit — typically equivalent to one to two months' fees — which is usually refundable subject to the terms of the parent contract. Ask also about any charges for uniforms, insurance, or enrichment activities that may be billed separately. Childcare and student care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so no goods and services tax should be added to your quoted monthly rate. Always request the full fee schedule in writing before signing the enrolment contract. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in an ECDA-licensed student care centre may be eligible for the Student Care Fee Assistance (SCFA) scheme, which is income-tested and can substantially reduce monthly fees for qualifying families. Eligibility and quantum depend on the enrolled centre holding the relevant ECDA licence — parents should confirm this directly with Big Heart Student Care, as no ECDA licence is currently listed in the provider's records on KakiList. Permanent resident children generally receive partial or no subsidy under ECDA schemes. Subsidy amounts and income thresholds are reviewed periodically, so visit the ECDA website or contact the centre directly for the most current figures before factoring subsidies into your budget planning.
Student care demand in Singapore tends to be highest around the January school intake, and popular centres can fill their places several months in advance. As a general guide, it is advisable to begin enquiring at least three to six months before your intended start date to avoid missing out on a slot. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and deposit. Contact Big Heart Student Care directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's school year level and preferred start month, and to understand their specific reservation process.
