About "Brain Booster"
Brain Booster is a student care provider operating islandwide from its centre at 124 Hougang Ave 1, Singapore 530124. It is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. The centre holds a Google rating of 4.6 out of 5, though this is based on 27 reviews — a moderate sample that should be treated as broadly indicative rather than conclusive. Fees are priced at the mid-range tier ($$) on a monthly recurring basis.
For families considering a place, the usual starting point is to enquire about slot availability for your intended enrolment month, as student care vacancies can fill quickly — particularly at the start of the school year in January. When you make contact, ask about the daily routine, staff-to-child ratio, homework supervision approach, and any enrichment activities offered. A centre visit is strongly recommended before committing, so you can meet the staff and see the environment first-hand. Note that Brain Booster does not appear to hold an ECDA licence at the time of listing; families should clarify the centre's regulatory status directly, as this affects eligibility for government subsidies such as the Basic Subsidy and Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy.
To take the next step, reach out to Brain Booster via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form on their listing to ask about current vacancies, monthly fees, and any registration or deposit requirements before scheduling a visit.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

The teachers at this tuition center are patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about the students’ progress. Lessons are well-structured, and the learning environment is supportive and encouraging. I have seen clear improvement and would recommend this center to parents looking for quality tuition
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Brain Booster team, most especially to Ms Pang for her unwavering support and guidance with our daughter Sophia. Over the past 3 years, the Centre has been well-organised, with clear communication and consistence guidance in both academic support and character development.
In my experiences with BB, I learnt alot from watching how Ms Pang and Mr Wang treat the children. Each and everyone is treated fairly and through hardships, many strong friendships and bonds can be seen forming here. Both Ms Pang and Mr Wang handles situations swiftly. I'm certain that children here will grow adhering to what they learnt along with holding on to the friendships they made along the way.
Hi Ms Pang, I would like to compliment Ms Jing Xuan for being kind and helpful to the students at bb. Joan was sharing with me that Ms Jing Xuan is kind and approachable. She even offered to help her with her homework just now. We appreciate her helpfulness and kindness. Thank you Ms Jing Xuan 🙂
creates a safe and healthy environment for my kid to do well. would recommend this place! seen results in my kiddo.

Brain Booster operates on a monthly recurring fee model, displayed at the mid-range ($$) tier. Exact monthly rates are not published on this listing, so you will need to contact the centre directly for a current fee schedule. Beyond the monthly fee, ask about a one-time registration fee, a refundable deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months' fees), and any charges for uniforms, insurance, or enrichment add-ons. Childcare and student care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted monthly figure should be the amount you pay. Confirm in writing whether the deposit is refundable and what notice period is required before withdrawal. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Government subsidies for student care are available to Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed centres. The Basic Subsidy offers up to S$300 per month for childcare, with additional support through the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy (WMS) for mothers working 56 or more hours per month. An Additional Subsidy, income-tested, can bring combined monthly support up to approximately S$710 when taken together with the WMS. Permanent Resident children may be eligible for partial subsidies at reduced rates. It is important to note that subsidy eligibility is contingent on the centre holding a valid ECDA licence — families should confirm Brain Booster's current licensing status directly before assuming subsidies apply. Subsidy amounts and qualifying criteria are subject to change. Refer to the ECDA website for the most current figures and eligibility requirements.
Student care places at popular centres in Singapore can fill months in advance, particularly for the January school-year intake. As a general guide, it is advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead of your intended start date, and earlier if possible for competitive locations or age groups. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit, which typically confirms the reservation. Ask Brain Booster directly whether a waitlist is currently in place, what the expected waiting time is, and whether a deposit is required to join the queue. Contact Brain Booster via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to check real-time availability for your child's intended start month.
