About "Canopy Student Care"
Canopy Student Care is a student care provider operating at 455 Sin Ming Avenue, Singapore, with coverage described as islandwide. The centre has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact information. It holds a 5-out-of-5 rating on Google, though this is based on only 2 reviews and should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Monthly fees are priced at the mid-range tier ($$).
For families considering student care, the process typically begins by contacting the centre to check slot availability for your child's intended start month. It is advisable to arrange a centre visit so you can see the environment firsthand, meet the staff, understand the daily routine and homework supervision structure, and ask about the settling-in period. Parents should also enquire about the staff-to-child ratio, after-school activity programmes, and whether the centre operates during school holidays. If your child is a Singapore citizen, you may be eligible for ECDA subsidies — ask the centre about applicable schemes and how to apply.
To take the next step, reach out to Canopy Student Care via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check whether a place is available for your child's level and intended start date, and to arrange an in-person visit before committing.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.
Eh Canopy is really fun! I like that Teacher Michele brings them out to explore so many things! Wildlife walks, learn about animals, plants, etc! Really effort! 😄💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 Academic support is very good too, kid is now more curious and enthusiastic to learn new Maths and English concepts and rules ♥️ The previous scc is just stay inside and study, kid not motivated leh 🙈
Sent my kids to Canopy’s March holiday camp and they absolutely loved it. After day 1, my younger one couldn’t sleep at night as she was excited about going over the next day! There was a good mix of indoor & outdoor time, games, reading and study time. Lotsa educational board games there too! By the end of it, both commented that they want to go during the June holidays!

Canopy Student Care is priced at the mid-range tier ($$) on a monthly recurring basis, which is consistent with the student care market in Singapore. Exact monthly fees are not publicly listed, so you will need to contact the centre directly for a current fee schedule. Beyond the monthly fee, it is common for student care centres to charge a one-off registration fee and a deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months of fees) when securing a place. Some centres also include a small uniform or insurance charge. Childcare and student care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted figure should be the amount you pay. Singapore citizen children enrolled in licensed student care centres may be eligible for government subsidies administered by ECDA. The Basic Subsidy provides up to S$300 per month for childcare, and working mothers who clock 56 or more hours of work per month may qualify for the additional Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy. For lower-income households, the Additional Subsidy (income-tested) can bring the combined subsidy to up to S$710 per month. Permanent resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at a reduced rate. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically, so the figures above are indicative. Always check directly with ECDA at go.gov.sg/ecda for the most current quantum and eligibility rules before making financial plans.
Student care places, particularly at well-regarded centres, can fill up quickly. It is generally advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead of your intended start date. January is the peak intake month in Singapore, aligned with the start of the school year, so demand for places rises sharply in the preceding months. To secure a spot, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Contact Canopy Student Care directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's school level and preferred start month. Acting early gives you more options and avoids last-minute uncertainty.
