About "Carrot Learning Centre"
Carrot Learning Centre is a student care provider operating from Midview City in Sin Ming Lane, with coverage across Singapore. The centre is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact information. It holds a 5-out-of-5 rating on Google, though this is based on 13 reviews and should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Fees are priced at the mid-range tier ($$) on a monthly recurring basis.
For families considering enrolment, the typical first step is to enquire about slot availability for your intended start month, as student care places at popular centres fill up well in advance. When you make contact via phone or the online enquiry form, it is worth asking about the daily routine, homework supervision arrangements, staff-to-child ratio, and the settling-in process for new students. If your child is a Singapore citizen, ask specifically about ECDA subsidy eligibility, as subsidies can meaningfully reduce your monthly out-of-pocket cost depending on your household income and the mother's employment status.
To get started, reach out to Carrot Learning Centre directly by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to confirm current availability and arrange a centre visit before committing to enrolment.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

I am really picky with the students cares that my child goes to. I am a very busy person, but after much searching I finally found the perfect student care for my child. Lions Heart has been a great help to me. My child looks forward to going there every day after school, they have really great facilities and amazing and well trained teachers. If you are looking for a student care after school for your child in the Thomson area, then I would definitely recommend Lions Heart
Amazing principal and teachers! Ms Isabelle helped bring my son's grades from fail to A*! Cannot thank them enough 😊 they offer tuition all within the student care, and make sure my son do his home work and prepare him for exam . He made many friend there too .
Deeply thankful to the principal Isabelle and the teachers who has been guiding and taking care of my 2 kids - P6 and P2. I had a switch of sc for my elder when the prior sc couldn’t help in the basics - getting homework done and spelling learnt properly. Once my kid was switched to lion heart, she was guided patiently by the teachers and no more problems with getting homework done nor tackling spelling. The teachers also offered daily tuition (pre-teach some of the topics, does revision for exams) and In the chase of keeping up with our stressful academic standards, you realise that this takes a load of working parents as it is a very academic focus sc. Another biggest virtue that is consistently demonstrated throughout the 5 yrs my elder is with sc would be how genuinely caring and invested the teachers are with the kids, I believe the culture set by the dedicated principal that personally see through the running. Thanks 🦁 ❤️, keep up the great work to take such good care of our kids.

Carrot Learning Centre is listed at the mid-range ($$) price tier on a monthly recurring basis. Student care fees in Singapore typically range from around S$300 to S$800 per month before subsidies, depending on the programme, hours covered, and centre location. Contact the centre directly to confirm the exact monthly fee for your child's age group and the number of care hours included. Beyond the monthly fee, ask about any one-time registration fee, refundable deposit (commonly one to two months), and miscellaneous charges such as uniform or activity fees. Childcare and student care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so no GST should be added to the quoted amount. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed student care centres may qualify for the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) or means-tested subsidies administered through ECDA, which can significantly reduce monthly fees. The Basic Subsidy for childcare is up to S$300 per month, and the Additional Subsidy is income-tested and can bring total support higher depending on household income. Working mothers employed for at least 56 hours per month may qualify for the Working Mother's Child Relief and additional subsidy tiers. Permanent resident children are eligible for partial subsidies only. Subsidy amounts and qualifying criteria are updated periodically, so always verify current figures directly with ECDA at ecda.gov.sg before making enrolment decisions. Note that subsidy availability at any specific centre also depends on whether that centre is ECDA-licensed and participates in the relevant subsidy scheme. Confirm this with Carrot Learning Centre directly.
Student care places at well-regarded centres in Singapore can fill up quickly, and it is advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead of your intended start date. Demand is typically highest for the January intake, which aligns with the start of the school year, so families targeting that period should begin enquiries by mid-year at the latest. To secure a place, centres commonly require payment of a registration fee and a refundable deposit. These are usually non-refundable if you withdraw before the start date, so confirm the terms carefully before committing. Contact Carrot Learning Centre directly by phone or through the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's school level and preferred start month.
