About Cheryl Ann Music
Cheryl Ann Music is an entertainment provider based at Shaw Centre on Scotts Road, offering islandwide coverage across Singapore. The listing is KakiList-verified, confirming operating details and contact channels. With 395 Google reviews at a rating of 4.0/5 — a robust sample — the provider carries a meaningful public track record. Pricing is presented at the mid-range tier ($$) on a package basis, which is standard for entertainment bookings.
Enquiries typically begin with a discussion of the event date, venue, and expected headcount, followed by a conversation about the entertainment format and package scope. For weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, or baby celebrations, it is worth confirming what each package covers — performance duration, setup and soundcheck time, equipment provision, and any travel charge for venues outside the central region. Deposit terms (typically 30–50% on signing) and the balance schedule should be agreed in writing before the event date is confirmed. For outdoor or partially outdoor events, ask about wet-weather contingency and whether public liability insurance is held, particularly if the setup involves equipment at an HDB void deck, condo function room, or hotel venue where the venue manager may request a copy.
To take the next step, reach out to Cheryl Ann Music via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form with your event date, venue, and a brief description of what you are looking for — this allows the team to confirm availability and send through a package proposal for your review.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm the public liability insurance and any HDB / condo / hotel venue paperwork, and put the deliverables, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing.
As the prices have been steadily getting higher, this cafe is generally not too crowded. Take a seat inside and order at the counter. Tarts are still very decent but prices have gone up by more than 30-40% over the years. Still a decent place to sit around at if you’re in the building. Other places gets a bit crowded during the peak hours after lunch.
Strategically located on the second floor of Shaw Centre, right by the escalator, this cafe is absolutely gorgeous. I particularly appreciate that the space is very quiet, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, making it an excellent spot for meetings and conversations. Their tarts are quite impressive, not just visually, but also in their craftsmanship and taste. If you're unsure what to choose, I highly recommend the raspberry tart or the dark chocolate tart!
Really cosy spot with friendly staff :-) Chocalate cake was rich with interesting layers and textures, incorporating caramel and cocoa crisps. Was given a free tart too by the really friendly staff :) Definitely will recommend and visit again ❤️
Place is quite cozy and the tarts are quite delicious. Lucky if get a seat else there are people who just sit and hog the place. Tarts are more to the sweeter kind. Stroller friendly as well as it quite spacious. Price is on a high side as a tart cost $12 to $14.
I liked the strawberry tart ($15.95) - the strawberries were fresh and the tart and cream had the right amount of sweetness to me. This was a nice and cosy place to read, it was almost empty on a sunday afternoon, the seats were comfortable and the music was relaxing.

Cheryl Ann Music prices entertainment on a package basis, positioned at a mid-range tier. Singapore market norms for entertainment packages vary by format — DJ and emcee slots typically run S$600–1,500 for a standard event window, live music or vocal performance packages S$800–3,000+, and full-day or wedding-specific entertainment packages can reach S$3,000–8,000+ depending on scope and personnel. The key items to confirm in writing are: the deposit amount (typically 30–50% on signing), the balance due date (usually 1–2 weeks pre-event), hours of coverage or performance, equipment included versus homeowner- or venue-supplied, and any travel or surcharge for non-central venues. GST should also be clarified in the quotation. See the full Entertainment cost guide for Singapore →
For weddings, it is advisable to book entertainment 6–12 months ahead, particularly for popular Saturday dates in March, April, October, and November, which fill up earliest. For corporate events and birthday parties, 6–12 weeks is generally sufficient, though peak year-end and school-holiday periods can compress availability. Once you have a preferred date, confirm it with a written contract and deposit — a verbal agreement does not hold a calendar slot. If your event has an outdoor component or is at a venue with noise restrictions, ask about wet-weather or curfew contingency at the time of booking rather than closer to the date.
Industry standard in Singapore is a 30–50% deposit on signing to secure the event date, with the remaining balance due 1–2 weeks before the event. Confirm in writing what the deposit covers — typically the date hold and any pre-event planning or rehearsal time — and whether it is refundable or transferable to a future date if you need to reschedule. Ask about the rescheduling policy specifically: most reputable entertainment providers will transfer a deposit to an alternative date if notice is given early, but terms vary. Also confirm whether the provider holds public liability insurance, as some HDB void deck, condo, and hotel venues require a certificate of insurance before permitting external vendors to set up on-site.
