Families enquiring about student care should ask about available slots for their child's intended start month, as vacancy can be limited. During your initial contact, it is worth asking about the daily routine, homework supervision approach, enrichment activities on offer, and staff-to-child ratios. A settling-in period is common for younger children transitioning from primary school, so ask how the centre manages this. Singapore citizen children enrolled at a licensed centre may be eligible for ECDA subsidies — ask the provider whether they are ECDA-licensed and able to administer subsidy claims on your behalf, as no regulatory licence is currently listed for this provider.
To take the next step, reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current vacancy, the monthly fee breakdown, and any registration deposit required before arranging a visit to the centre.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

I am very happy to send my son to the Childhood Builder because he receives assistance and guidance from the teachers for his homework and spelling. During school holidays, the program is full of engaging activities, ensuring that my son stays busy. Additionally, the teachers keep me updated about my son’s present, which makes me feel relieved and safe. This is much appreciated. Thank you.❤️
We would like to express our gratitude to Childhood Build After school care as they have taken great care of our child. We love that they provide in house cooked meals and always planned fun/outdoor activities during holidays just make sure the kids spent their time wisely. Caretakers also made sure to assist the kids with their schoolwork and further encourage daily assessment practices too. A big thank you to Mrs Ang & team for their great efforts and pls keep it up! 👍🏻
The centre always make sure the kids learn their spelling. Teachers in charge will test the children 1 day before their spelling and send the result to parents. The children will do practices on the assessment books should they have no homework for that day. Teachers will update parents regularly on the progress of the children. What I likes most about the centre is its inhouse cooked meal! :)

Subsidies for student care in Singapore depend on whether the provider is registered with ECDA and participates in the relevant subsidy schemes. For ECDA-registered student care centres, Singapore citizen children from lower- to middle-income households may qualify for the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme or income-tested subsidies administered through the centre. Singapore Permanent Resident children may receive partial support depending on the scheme. Because no ECDA licence is currently listed for Childhood Builder After School, you should ask the provider directly whether they are registered and able to process subsidy claims on your behalf. Subsidy quantum and eligibility criteria are updated periodically, so always check the current figures on the ECDA website or with the centre before making enrolment decisions.
Student care places, particularly at well-regarded centres, can fill up several months in advance. It is generally advisable to enquire three to six months before your intended start date, with January being the peak intake month in Singapore due to the academic calendar. Centres near popular primary schools tend to have higher demand. To secure a place, most centres require a completed registration form alongside a registration fee and deposit. Contact Childhood Builder After School directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's school level and preferred start month, as vacancy changes frequently and cannot be confirmed from the listing alone.
