New clients typically begin with an initial consultation, during which the chiropractor takes a full case history and assesses posture, range of motion, and presenting complaints — whether that is lower back pain, neck stiffness, headaches, or sports-related musculoskeletal issues. From there, a care plan is proposed covering session frequency, expected duration of treatment, and whether a package or pay-per-session arrangement is more appropriate. Cancellation and rescheduling policies vary, so it is worth confirming these at the first appointment.

Have been going to Dr Kan for adjustments for the past 9 months for my knee and wrist pain. My knee pain have significantly reduced, I can now do a full squat and half squat with 5kg weight without pain (past: I can’t even climb the stairs with body weight). My wrist’s burning pain also no longer acts up ever since I started adjustments with Dr Kan. Surprising takeaway was the headaches - I used to have real bad headaches due to neck tension from strength trainings. Dr Kan helped to relieve the neck and shoulder tension so generally feel more relaxed and less tense :) Thank you Dr Kan! Bgd: Have sought consultations, xray and MRI at Changi Hospital previously but they couldn’t find the cause of pain for my knee and wrist pain. They couldn’t find only recommend acupuncture and physio lol
I used to have bad back aches and headaches. So I decided to try alternative ways by going to a Chiropractor that is medicine free. It has been 3 months in and I am so glad I made the decision to start the chiropractor journey. My doctor is Dr Shu and she’s great. She really makes me an ease and knows what is best for my body. The staff are all awesome too. Always greeted with big smiles. In addition, their system is awesome. Always sending reminders promptly. Highly recommended !
I started chiropractic care at Chiropractic First in March 2025 due to stiff neck, shoulder tension, and backaches. Even though it’s only been a short time, I’ve already noticed a difference—less tightness in my shoulders, better posture, and more awareness of how I move and sit. Dr. Kan is very caring and attentive—he listens and explains clearly, which makes each session reassuring. The team is friendly, professional, and really takes the time to explain things clearly. I’m looking forward to continuing my sessions and seeing more improvements ahead!
I've been undergoing chiropractic care for about 9 months and I'm impressed with the results. I went in for frequent headaches, migraines (which I've suffered for a long time) and lower back pain. During the intensive phase, I was under the care of Dr Kan who was professional and experienced. My headaches and migraines have significantly reduced. Now, during the stabilisation phase, I'm seeing Dr Shu who is very thorough, attentive and reminds me about my posture. I'm able to sleep better and my overall well being has improved. Also, not forgetting the amazing service staff like Kavitah and KP, who are always warm, friendly and welcoming. A big thank you to the team!
I had an incredible experience at Chiropractic First. After suffering a dislocated shoulder, I was in a lot of pain and struggling with mobility. The staff were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and comforting while their chiropractor took the time to explain everything clearly. The treatment was effective, and I noticed significant improvement after just a few visits. Beyond the expertise, Mr Kan has a genuinely caring and patient-centered approach, which made the whole recovery process much easier. If you’re looking for a skilled and compassionate chiropractor, I highly recommend Chiropractic First.

Chiropractic First (Great World) has not publicly listed a per-session rate on this listing. In the Singapore market, chiropractic consultations typically range from S$80 to S$180 per session, with initial assessments often priced slightly higher than follow-up adjustments. Package pricing — for example, a block of six or ten sessions — is common and usually carries a modest discount over pay-per-visit rates. It is worth confirming whether a first-consultation fee applies, whether materials such as cervical supports or exercise bands are billed separately, and what the cancellation or no-show policy is before booking. Contact the clinic directly for current pricing. See the full chiropractic cost guide for Singapore →
No GP referral is required to see a chiropractor in Singapore — you can book a first appointment directly. At the initial visit, expect to complete an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and presenting symptoms. The chiropractor will carry out a physical assessment before beginning any adjustment. A referral from a GP or specialist can be helpful if your condition is complex, involves recent imaging (X-rays or MRI), or if you intend to make a claim through a corporate health insurance policy — some insurers require a referral letter for reimbursement. Certain conditions, such as acute disc herniation, osteoporosis, or inflammatory arthritis, may require the chiropractor to liaise with your primary doctor before proceeding with treatment.
Chiropractic is not yet a statutorily regulated profession in Singapore in the same way as physiotherapy or TCM — there is currently no mandatory government licensing board for chiropractors. That said, credentialed practitioners typically hold a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited institution and may be members of the Chiropractic Association of Singapore (CAS), which maintains a voluntary register. When booking, it is reasonable to ask for the consulting chiropractor's qualifications, the institution they trained at, and how many years they have been practising. Confirm the practitioner's credentials directly with Chiropractic First (Great World) before commencing treatment, particularly if you have a pre-existing spinal condition.
