Patients typically begin with a first consultation at which the chiropractor takes a case history, assesses posture and range of motion, and discusses presenting complaints such as back pain, neck stiffness, headaches, or disc-related issues. From there, a treatment plan is proposed — this may involve a course of adjustments over several weeks, with progress reassessed at intervals. Patients should confirm whether single sessions are available or whether the clinic offers package commitments, and clarify the cancellation and no-show policy before booking. Bring any relevant imaging (X-rays or MRI reports) to the first appointment if you have them.
To get started, contact Chiropractic First (Jurong Point) directly by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to confirm current availability and per-session fees before booking your first appointment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Have been going to Dr Kan for adjustments for the past 9 months for my knee and wrist pain. My knee pain have significantly reduced, I can now do a full squat and half squat with 5kg weight without pain (past: I can’t even climb the stairs with body weight). My wrist’s burning pain also no longer acts up ever since I started adjustments with Dr Kan. Surprising takeaway was the headaches - I used to have real bad headaches due to neck tension from strength trainings. Dr Kan helped to relieve the neck and shoulder tension so generally feel more relaxed and less tense :) Thank you Dr Kan! Bgd: Have sought consultations, xray and MRI at Changi Hospital previously but they couldn’t find the cause of pain for my knee and wrist pain. They couldn’t find only recommend acupuncture and physio lol
I used to have bad back aches and headaches. So I decided to try alternative ways by going to a Chiropractor that is medicine free. It has been 3 months in and I am so glad I made the decision to start the chiropractor journey. My doctor is Dr Shu and she’s great. She really makes me an ease and knows what is best for my body. The staff are all awesome too. Always greeted with big smiles. In addition, their system is awesome. Always sending reminders promptly. Highly recommended !
I started chiropractic care at Chiropractic First in March 2025 due to stiff neck, shoulder tension, and backaches. Even though it’s only been a short time, I’ve already noticed a difference—less tightness in my shoulders, better posture, and more awareness of how I move and sit. Dr. Kan is very caring and attentive—he listens and explains clearly, which makes each session reassuring. The team is friendly, professional, and really takes the time to explain things clearly. I’m looking forward to continuing my sessions and seeing more improvements ahead!
I've been undergoing chiropractic care for about 9 months and I'm impressed with the results. I went in for frequent headaches, migraines (which I've suffered for a long time) and lower back pain. During the intensive phase, I was under the care of Dr Kan who was professional and experienced. My headaches and migraines have significantly reduced. Now, during the stabilisation phase, I'm seeing Dr Shu who is very thorough, attentive and reminds me about my posture. I'm able to sleep better and my overall well being has improved. Also, not forgetting the amazing service staff like Kavitah and KP, who are always warm, friendly and welcoming. A big thank you to the team!
I had an incredible experience at Chiropractic First. After suffering a dislocated shoulder, I was in a lot of pain and struggling with mobility. The staff were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and comforting while their chiropractor took the time to explain everything clearly. The treatment was effective, and I noticed significant improvement after just a few visits. Beyond the expertise, Mr Kan has a genuinely caring and patient-centered approach, which made the whole recovery process much easier. If you’re looking for a skilled and compassionate chiropractor, I highly recommend Chiropractic First.

No GP referral is required to see a chiropractor in Singapore, though bringing one (or any existing imaging such as X-rays or MRI scans) can help the practitioner assess your condition more accurately from the outset. The first visit typically includes a detailed intake form covering medical history, current symptoms, and lifestyle factors, followed by a physical assessment of posture, spinal alignment, and range of motion. Patients with certain conditions — including osteoporosis, recent fractures, spinal cord compression, or those on blood thinners — should disclose these before treatment, as some chiropractic techniques carry contraindications. If in doubt, consult your GP first and request a referral letter, which may also support any insurance or Medisave claim where applicable.
Chiropractic is not currently regulated by a statutory board in Singapore, which means there is no mandatory government licence equivalent to those held by physiotherapists (AHPC) or TCM practitioners (TCMPB). Reputable chiropractors in Singapore typically hold a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited institution and may be members of the Chiropractic Association of Singapore (CAS). When booking, ask for the consulting chiropractor's academic qualifications, the institution from which they graduated, and whether they are a CAS member. No regulatory licences are listed for this provider on KakiList at this time — confirm credentials directly with the clinic before your first session. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
