New patients typically begin with a first consultation and postural or spinal assessment, during which the chiropractor takes a case history, reviews any relevant imaging or referral notes, and identifies the presenting concern — whether that is lower-back pain, neck stiffness, headaches, or sports-related musculoskeletal issues. From there, a care plan is proposed, which may involve a course of adjustments, soft-tissue work, or rehabilitative exercises. Patients can attend as a one-off visit or commit to a structured package; it is worth asking about cancellation and rescheduling terms before starting.
To make an appointment, contact Chiropractic First (Thomson Plaza) by phone or through the enquiry form, describe your presenting condition and preferred time slot, and confirm the consultation fee and what the first visit covers before attending.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Have been going to Dr Kan for adjustments for the past 9 months for my knee and wrist pain. My knee pain have significantly reduced, I can now do a full squat and half squat with 5kg weight without pain (past: I can’t even climb the stairs with body weight). My wrist’s burning pain also no longer acts up ever since I started adjustments with Dr Kan. Surprising takeaway was the headaches - I used to have real bad headaches due to neck tension from strength trainings. Dr Kan helped to relieve the neck and shoulder tension so generally feel more relaxed and less tense :) Thank you Dr Kan! Bgd: Have sought consultations, xray and MRI at Changi Hospital previously but they couldn’t find the cause of pain for my knee and wrist pain. They couldn’t find only recommend acupuncture and physio lol
I used to have bad back aches and headaches. So I decided to try alternative ways by going to a Chiropractor that is medicine free. It has been 3 months in and I am so glad I made the decision to start the chiropractor journey. My doctor is Dr Shu and she’s great. She really makes me an ease and knows what is best for my body. The staff are all awesome too. Always greeted with big smiles. In addition, their system is awesome. Always sending reminders promptly. Highly recommended !
I started chiropractic care at Chiropractic First in March 2025 due to stiff neck, shoulder tension, and backaches. Even though it’s only been a short time, I’ve already noticed a difference—less tightness in my shoulders, better posture, and more awareness of how I move and sit. Dr. Kan is very caring and attentive—he listens and explains clearly, which makes each session reassuring. The team is friendly, professional, and really takes the time to explain things clearly. I’m looking forward to continuing my sessions and seeing more improvements ahead!
I've been undergoing chiropractic care for about 9 months and I'm impressed with the results. I went in for frequent headaches, migraines (which I've suffered for a long time) and lower back pain. During the intensive phase, I was under the care of Dr Kan who was professional and experienced. My headaches and migraines have significantly reduced. Now, during the stabilisation phase, I'm seeing Dr Shu who is very thorough, attentive and reminds me about my posture. I'm able to sleep better and my overall well being has improved. Also, not forgetting the amazing service staff like Kavitah and KP, who are always warm, friendly and welcoming. A big thank you to the team!
I had an incredible experience at Chiropractic First. After suffering a dislocated shoulder, I was in a lot of pain and struggling with mobility. The staff were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and comforting while their chiropractor took the time to explain everything clearly. The treatment was effective, and I noticed significant improvement after just a few visits. Beyond the expertise, Mr Kan has a genuinely caring and patient-centered approach, which made the whole recovery process much easier. If you’re looking for a skilled and compassionate chiropractor, I highly recommend Chiropractic First.

Specific per-session fees for Chiropractic First (Thomson Plaza) were not listed publicly at the time of writing. In Singapore, chiropractic consultations typically range from S$80–150 for an initial assessment and S$60–120 for follow-up adjustments, with package rates available for multi-session commitments. Confirm whether a first-consultation or assessment fee applies, whether that fee is separate from or bundled with the first adjustment, and whether a no-show or late-cancellation charge applies. If you plan to claim through a corporate health benefit or insurance policy, ask the clinic whether they issue itemised receipts coded for chiropractic services. A GP or specialist referral is not required to see a chiropractor in Singapore — you can book directly. At Chiropractic First (Thomson Plaza), the first visit typically includes a detailed intake assessment covering your medical history, current symptoms, lifestyle factors, and any contraindications to spinal manipulation (such as osteoporosis, recent fracture, or certain vascular conditions). Bring any relevant X-rays, MRI reports, or specialist letters if you have them, as these help the chiropractor confirm that manual adjustment is appropriate for your case. If you intend to submit the cost to a private insurer, a GP referral letter can strengthen the claim — check your policy terms before your first visit.
Chiropractic practice in Singapore is not currently regulated under a statutory licensing board equivalent to the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) or Singapore Medical Council (SMC) — there is no government register of chiropractors to cross-check at this time. Voluntary membership of the Chiropractic Association of Singapore (CAS) and an internationally recognised chiropractic qualification (typically a 5-year Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited institution) are the primary credentialing signals available to patients. Before your first appointment, ask the treating chiropractor for their qualification, the institution that awarded it, and whether they hold CAS membership. Chiropractic First (Thomson Plaza) is verified by KakiList, and its 4.8-out-of-5 rating across 167 Google reviews is a meaningful indicator of patient satisfaction. Confirm the practitioner's credentials directly before committing to a course of treatment.
