The typical patient journey begins with an initial consultation, during which the chiropractor takes a full history, assesses posture and spinal alignment, and discusses presenting concerns such as back pain, neck stiffness, headaches, or postural issues. From there, the practitioner outlines a treatment plan, which may include spinal adjustments, soft-tissue work, and rehabilitative exercises. Patients are usually advised on session frequency and expected duration of a care programme before committing. It is worth asking whether a single-session option is available alongside package plans, and confirming the cancellation and no-show policy upfront.
To book an initial consultation, contact Chiropractic First (United Square) by phone or through the enquiry form listed on this page.

Have been going to Dr Kan for adjustments for the past 9 months for my knee and wrist pain. My knee pain have significantly reduced, I can now do a full squat and half squat with 5kg weight without pain (past: I can’t even climb the stairs with body weight). My wrist’s burning pain also no longer acts up ever since I started adjustments with Dr Kan. Surprising takeaway was the headaches - I used to have real bad headaches due to neck tension from strength trainings. Dr Kan helped to relieve the neck and shoulder tension so generally feel more relaxed and less tense :) Thank you Dr Kan! Bgd: Have sought consultations, xray and MRI at Changi Hospital previously but they couldn’t find the cause of pain for my knee and wrist pain. They couldn’t find only recommend acupuncture and physio lol
I used to have bad back aches and headaches. So I decided to try alternative ways by going to a Chiropractor that is medicine free. It has been 3 months in and I am so glad I made the decision to start the chiropractor journey. My doctor is Dr Shu and she’s great. She really makes me an ease and knows what is best for my body. The staff are all awesome too. Always greeted with big smiles. In addition, their system is awesome. Always sending reminders promptly. Highly recommended !
I started chiropractic care at Chiropractic First in March 2025 due to stiff neck, shoulder tension, and backaches. Even though it’s only been a short time, I’ve already noticed a difference—less tightness in my shoulders, better posture, and more awareness of how I move and sit. Dr. Kan is very caring and attentive—he listens and explains clearly, which makes each session reassuring. The team is friendly, professional, and really takes the time to explain things clearly. I’m looking forward to continuing my sessions and seeing more improvements ahead!
I've been undergoing chiropractic care for about 9 months and I'm impressed with the results. I went in for frequent headaches, migraines (which I've suffered for a long time) and lower back pain. During the intensive phase, I was under the care of Dr Kan who was professional and experienced. My headaches and migraines have significantly reduced. Now, during the stabilisation phase, I'm seeing Dr Shu who is very thorough, attentive and reminds me about my posture. I'm able to sleep better and my overall well being has improved. Also, not forgetting the amazing service staff like Kavitah and KP, who are always warm, friendly and welcoming. A big thank you to the team!
I had an incredible experience at Chiropractic First. After suffering a dislocated shoulder, I was in a lot of pain and struggling with mobility. The staff were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and comforting while their chiropractor took the time to explain everything clearly. The treatment was effective, and I noticed significant improvement after just a few visits. Beyond the expertise, Mr Kan has a genuinely caring and patient-centered approach, which made the whole recovery process much easier. If you’re looking for a skilled and compassionate chiropractor, I highly recommend Chiropractic First.

No GP referral is required to book a chiropractic consultation in Singapore — patients may book directly. The initial visit typically includes a clinical intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and specific complaints, followed by a physical and postural assessment before any hands-on treatment begins. If you have a complex medical background — such as osteoporosis, a history of spinal surgery, nerve compression, or cardiovascular conditions — it is advisable to bring relevant medical records or imaging. A GP referral can also be useful if you intend to claim through certain insurance policies, as some insurers require a referral letter to process chiropractic claims. Clarify this with your insurer before your first visit.
Chiropractic in Singapore is currently not regulated under a statutory professional board in the same way as physiotherapy (AHPC) or traditional Chinese medicine (TCMPB). There is no mandatory government licence for individual chiropractors at this time, though the profession is monitored under the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act for clinic premises. As a proxy for individual practitioner credibility, ask whether the chiropractor holds a degree from an institution accredited by the European Council on Chiropractic Education (ECCE) or the Council on Chiropractic Education International (CCEI), and whether they are a member of the Chiropractic Association of Singapore (CAS). These voluntary markers indicate a minimum standard of training. Confirm the named chiropractor who will be treating you before committing to a package.
