We have used the services of Classic Moving twice firstly about 14 months ago when relocated from London to Singapore and now to relocate to Melbourne. Terrible Experience with Classic Moving – Unprofessional and Unreliable I recently used Classic Moving for a relocation, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a moving company. Here’s why: 1. IKEA Furniture Issue:** One of the most frustrating parts of the experience was with Grace, who was assigned to handle my move. Classic Moving dismantled my IKEA furniture but failed to inform me that Grace does not assemble IKEA furniture. As a result, I was left to reassemble everything myself, which was incredibly time-consuming and stressful. 2. Bicycle Dismantling Issue:** To make matters worse, Classic Moving dismantled my bicycle without my consent and failed to reassemble it. When I asked Grace for help, I was told that she doesn’t do assembly work. I was left with a disassembled bike and no assistance, which was incredibly inconvenient and added to the overall frustration. 3. No Follow-Up After Arrival:** After my container arrived in Melbourne, Classic Moving completely dropped the ball. They didn’t follow up with me at all, and I had to constantly chase Grace for updates. This lack of communication and support added unnecessary stress to an already chaotic process. 4. No Accountability:** When I reached out to Classic Moving to address these issues, they didn’t resolve the mentioned situations. Dan just keeps quiet and no respond from him. Overall, I would not recommend Classic Moving to anyone. The lack of professionalism, poor service, and disregard for customer satisfaction made this a nightmare experience. Save yourself the trouble and choose a more reliable moving company.
