Families considering student care at Commit Learning Schoolhouse should begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as places can fill up quickly, particularly at the start of a new school year. When you contact the centre, ask about the daily routine, homework supervision arrangements, and the ratio of staff to children. A centre visit allows you to meet the team in person, observe the environment, and ask about the settling-in process. It is also worth discussing ECDA subsidies, which are available for Singapore citizen children and can meaningfully reduce the monthly cost.
To take the next step, reach out to Commit Learning Schoolhouse via phone or the enquiry form listed on this page to ask about current slot availability and to arrange a visit to the centre.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

We are very thankful for the belanga rise student care and the amazing team. They are professional, caring, and well-organised, creating a safe and environment for my children. The team has so much clarity and dedication, and the team works together seamlessly to support both the students and well-being.
Cantonment Primary branch has this old teacher Iris, very rude and blur. dont know how she can be a teacher there. Cant even pronounce word properly and dont listen to the children to respond Always screaming and screaming. I wonder where are the other teachers like teacher Mylsha, teacher Jiahui, and their manager teacher sofian. heard they all quit due to internal problems that their management not doing anything about. They are well loved there. now the environment so cold and rigid.

Commit Learning Schoolhouse charges on a monthly recurring basis, priced at a mid-range level. Beyond the monthly programme fee, parents should ask about a one-time registration fee and whether a deposit — typically equivalent to one to two months' fees — is required to secure a place. Uniform and personal accident insurance costs may also apply and are worth confirming upfront. Childcare and student care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the monthly figure you are quoted should represent your full recurring cost, excluding any optional add-ons. Always request a written fee schedule before signing any agreement. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in a licensed student care centre may be eligible for the MOE Student Care Fee Assistance (SCFA) scheme, which is income-tested and can offset a significant portion of monthly fees. Permanent resident children may qualify for partial assistance depending on the scheme applied. For younger children in infant care or childcare, the Basic Subsidy provides up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare. The Working Mother's Child Development Grant and Additional Subsidy offer further relief for qualifying families, with combined totals potentially reaching S$710 or more per month depending on household income and the mother's employment status. Subsidy quantum and eligibility criteria are updated periodically. Contact ECDA directly or visit the ECDA website for the most current figures before making enrolment decisions.
Student care places in popular areas can be in high demand, and it is advisable to enquire at least three to six months before your intended start date. January is the peak intake month aligned with the start of the school year, so slots for that period tend to fill earliest. To secure a place, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and, in some cases, a deposit. Contact Commit Learning Schoolhouse directly via phone or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's school level and preferred start month. If the centre is currently full, ask whether a waitlist exists and how positions on it are managed, so you can plan alternative arrangements if needed.
