The process has been smooth and professional, that the team really did take extra steps to advise me what were my best options given I needed more flexibility on storage. Particularly thank you ms Nur for being responsive and helped me to prevent mistakes and delays on my end.

I chose Crown Relocations Singapore specifically because of its reputation as a premium international relocation provider. What I experienced instead was months of delays, poor coordination, repeated errors, and a complete lack of ownership — during a major international move from Singapore to Sydney. From the outset, everything looked professional. A site survey was conducted in September 2025, scope was agreed, and I accepted the proposal and paid in full in early October 2025. I was assured my belongings would be packed in October, shipped within the month, and delivered by mid-December. That did not happen. -Packing (21–22 October 2025) The packing experience itself was chaotic: -One side of a cupboard was not packed at all. -Movers demanded additional payment for crating of paintings, even though crating was already included in the agreed quote. -They attempted to impose a so-called “long push” charge, which Crown management later confirmed was invalid. -Packing was not completed within the agreed timeframe — movers left early and the truck returned late the following day. This should have been the first and last red flag. Unfortunately, it was only the beginning. -Communication breakdown & shipment delay After packing, both the sales associate and relocation manager became largely non-responsive. I had to send repeated follow-ups just to get basic information. Despite being told the shipment would leave in October, I later discovered that my goods were not shipped until the end of November — without any proactive communication or explanation. -Missed delivery commitments I was told my belongings would arrive in Sydney on 18 December 2025. They arrived on 23 December instead. I was then informed that unpacking occurred on 31 December, yet as of 20 January 2026, my belongings were still not delivered. Every update I received came only after chasing Crown or explicitly escalating. -Administrative and system failures Alongside the operational issues: -I lost access to the Crown customer portal, with no explanation or resolution. -Errors were made in my insurance calculations, which I had to identify and correct myself. -Even at senior escalation level through LinkedIn, Crown staff were clearly working with outdated or incorrect information, including not being properly updated that I had already made payments to their destination partner. -At no point did Crown demonstrate effective internal coordination between Singapore, Sydney, and their partners. -Lack of accountability What has been most disappointing is not just the delays, but the attitude. Senior correspondence focused on minimising the issues and “closing the case,” rather than acknowledging the cumulative failures, the stress caused, or offering a meaningful remedy. Delivery (which is now happening months late) is being treated as if it resolves everything. It does not. An international relocation is stressful enough. Crown made it significantly worse. I would strongly caution anyone considering Crown Relocations Singapore to think very carefully. Based on my experience, the service did not come close to justifying the premium price or reputation.

I am genuinely disappointed by the experience we’ve had with Crown Relocations. We selected Crown because of its reputation and paid for all optional insurance add-ons, fully expecting our belongings to be properly protected. Several valuable furniture items arrived damaged, yet Crown has refused to accept responsibility or provide compensation. They blamed the damage on “atmospheric or climatic conditions,” despite no evidence, no temperature or humidity data, no packing or stacking records, nothing beyond an inspector’s opinion. The table in question has iron supports beneath the top and the split down the middle could just as easily be as a result of pressure from poor stacking. Crown’s contract contains a catch-all exclusion clause that essentially voids your coverage for any damage they can loosely attribute to “atmospheric” conditions, even when they packed the items themselves. This is a deeply unfair and misleading policy. Had Crown made this exclusion clear before shipment and that these items would likely be exclude in the event of damage, we would have made very different choices with respect to the moving company or possibly even selling certain pieces before moving rather than trusting their coverage. We went with Crown precisely because we believed a global, reputable brand would stand behind its service. Instead, we’ve been left out of pocket despite paying for full coverage and all optional extras. To make matters worse, Crown’s team also damaged a marble floor during the packing process in our former home. They admitted responsibility in writing and agreed to cover the repair costs. Seven months later, despite repeated follow-ups, I am still waiting for payment I urge anyone considering Crown Relocations to negotiate this exclusion clause out of your contract before signing or reconsider using them altogether. Their insurance coverage is not what it appears to be, and in our experience, it fails customers exactly when it matters most.
