Families considering student care at Dajin Learning Centre should begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as places can fill quickly. During initial contact — available by phone or through the online form — ask about the daily routine, supervision arrangements, homework guidance, and how the centre manages children of different school levels. A centre visit is strongly recommended before committing, so you can meet the staff, observe the environment, and review the parent contract. If your child is a Singapore citizen, check whether ECDA subsidies apply to student care fees.
To take the next step, call or submit an enquiry form to ask about current vacancy, your child's school level, and preferred start date. Request a copy of the fee schedule and parent handbook before making any payment.

Having been an ex student here. I can safely say that any parent considering sending their child here must rethink their choices. The teachers are biased and usually turn a blind eye to bullying happening to students. The lady owner and elder Chinese teacher is unnecessarily strict. Food is horrible. Heard teachers gossiping about certain children they personally don't like and never bother helping them (clear case of bias). Overall, would rate 0 stars if possible for the amount of trauma this student centre has given me which I will never forget for the rest of my life.
The teacher and the two old guy in this student care store are terrible. When I first entered, they said it was very good and there were teachers teaching. However, it turned out that the people inside didn’t look like teachers at all. When asked about their homework, they didn’t know how to do it. The food was also bad. It's very bad. The children don't like to eat. The portions of the food given are also very small. They have to control not to keep adding more food. They can only add more food after everyone has finished. The two old people love money and can't give more. We want it. . . That woman likes to punish children. She always punish the children copied it 50 times. She didn't let children talking.she will punish them if you speak. . This is a very unqualified student care, and every day from 4pm to 4.30pm, teachers will take all the students to walk from GJ to DJ and cross two streets, moving here and there. This is why they can save water and electricity fee.
Horrible place to send your student, not worth of penny, teachers are so rude and the system inside the school are not very good for children. Please save your children for this kind of place.
Gave me ptsd. Horrible place to put ur child in. Not worth the $300+ per month fee. Teachers there are very biased. Food that’s served there is absolutely horrendous. Don’t allow children there to use their phone even after finishing their work. Teachers do absolutely nothing about bullying cases.
gave me trauma, the teachers are very biased of the students, weird rules that make zero sense, not worth it.

Dajin Learning Centre charges fees on a monthly recurring basis, priced at a mid-range level for student care in Singapore. In addition to the monthly fee, most student care centres charge a one-off registration fee and a deposit of around one to two months' fees when you secure a place. There may also be incidental costs such as uniform, insurance, or material fees, so it is worth requesting a full fee breakdown before signing. Childcare and student care fees are GST-exempt in Singapore, so the quoted monthly figure should be the amount you pay. Always confirm in writing what is and is not included. Singapore citizen children attending ECDA-registered student care centres may be eligible for the Student Care Fee Assistance (SCFA) scheme administered by MSF, which is income-tested and can significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs. Eligibility and quantum depend on your household income, and assistance is reviewed periodically. Note that the standard Basic Subsidy and Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy (WMS) administered by ECDA apply primarily to infant care and childcare centres, not student care. Subsidy availability at any given centre also depends on whether it holds the relevant ECDA registration. As subsidy schemes and quantum can change, contact ECDA or MSF directly for the most current figures and to confirm which subsidies apply at Dajin Learning Centre specifically. Permanent resident children generally receive reduced or no subsidy.
Demand for student care places in Singapore can be competitive, particularly at centres located near primary schools or in densely populated residential areas such as Woodlands. It is advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead of your intended start date, and earlier if you are targeting the January intake, which is the peak enrolment period aligned with the school year. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Contact Dajin Learning Centre directly by phone or through the enquiry form to check current availability for your child's school level and preferred start month. Do not assume a place is held until you have written confirmation.
