Dance Bollywood International is my happy place! I started off by coming for fitness purposes but I have grown to become very passionate about dancing. The instructors teach you proper Bollywood technique and I love how they help everyone to learn the steps easily whether you’re a beginner or a pro. Most importantly, the instructors encourage you to enjoy the class. It’s a lovely community and I’m glad to be a part of it.
Been dancing at DBI for a couple of years now & I still eagerly look forward to classes! It's the new songs every week, each with different tempos & styles, that keeps me coming back for more. Recommended some friends to try it out, and they've all loved it too. Teachers & students are friendly and encouraging - it's the perfect place to pick up a new hobby while getting a good workout in! Would recommend anyone to join & experience it for themselves :)
I absolutely love going to DBI for Groove and Masala Bollywood classes. There are new songs every week and while the choreography can be challenging for new joiners, the steps are beautifully done and makes it more worthwhile when you finally get it. It is a friendly environment, the dance instructors (I've only attended Master Anil's classes so far but seen Deena's videos and will be going for one of her classes soon) are professional, skilled and add a good balance of humour to the classes which makes it an overall fun class! Looking forward to many more classes :D
Came for the workout, stayed for the dance! Joined the 'Bollywood Groove' classes, and there are new sequences and songs to learn every week, so there's plenty of variety. Since the dance is recorded at the end of each class, we could always practise on our own, and not forget the steps - really helpful and conducive for learning! There's a great sense of community, with friendly and warm instructors and students. Highly recommended!
This dance studio is legit awesome! Started off just wanting to get flexible, but now I really look forward to my dance classes (Bollywood Groove and Kuthu dance) every week. The instructors are highly talented and really break down the moves well. Plus, the community here is super friendly—feels more like a hangout sesh than a class. Totally recommend it if you're into good vibes and killer dance moves!

Many dance schools in Singapore offer a trial class so that new students can gauge the teaching style, class pacing, and whether the level is appropriate before signing up for a full term. It is advisable to ask Dance with Ira Singapore whether a trial is available, what it costs, and whether the trial fee is credited towards the first term if you continue. During a trial class, pay attention to how the instructor communicates corrections, whether the pace suits your or your child's ability, and how the group dynamic feels. A good fit in those areas tends to predict longer-term enjoyment and progress. Contact Dance with Ira Singapore via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about trial class availability and current scheduling.
Specific instructor qualifications have not been listed in the available provider data. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about the lead instructor's formal training background, any examination board affiliations (such as RAD, ISTD, or CSTD for ballet and ballroom, or relevant contemporary dance institutions), years of teaching experience, and whether the curriculum is aligned to any graded syllabus or is repertoire-based. For competition-oriented students, it is also worth asking whether the school prepares students for external examinations or festivals, and what the track record has been. If this information is not published on the school's own channels, ask directly before committing to a term.
