About Danz Studio
Danz Studio is a dance school based at Marina Square in Singapore, offering classes islandwide and holding KakiList verified status. The studio has received a 4.5-star rating on Google across 30 reviews — a modest sample size, so treat this as directional rather than definitive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific per-session or monthly fees are not publicly listed.
Parents and students enquiring about classes should confirm which dance styles and levels are on offer, and whether the curriculum aligns with a child's age, experience, and goals. It is worth asking whether classes are structured in group or one-to-one formats, what the typical class size is, and whether sessions are sold per term or as a flexible monthly arrangement. The studio is located at 6 Raffles Blvd, #02-15/17, Marina Square — accessible by public transport — so it is worth confirming whether all levels and age groups are taught from this single location or whether islandwide coverage involves additional venues.
To take the next step, contact Danz Studio directly by phone or via the enquiry form on their listing to ask about current class schedules, available levels, and whether a trial class can be arranged before committing to a term.

I have been a regular student for about 6 months. Having no prior dance experience, I signed up for an Introduction to Dance Course Level 1 for adults. The class size was comfortable (less than 10 students), and the pace of per class was manageable and very organised, and we all had a lot of fun! We learnt a lot about the basics (different bounces, isolation, and party moves) and a little bit about choreography. The package costs about $240 for 8 lessons, but also comes with 4 free open-class dance credits. After the course, I started attending the Hip Hop Intro open classes on Thursday almost every week. While open classes were more challenging, I quite enjoyed the instructor’s (Luqman) teaching style. However, I find that the dance studio that was allocated was very small and could barely accommodate the increasing number of students. Those who were not early to reserve a spot would have to be stationed at the back of the class, where it is nearly impossible to see both the instructor and themselves in the mirror. Due to the lack of space, I find myself needing to be very cautious about my movements, as well as to ensure nobody comes into physical contact with me by accident. I also found some of the students having very poor etiquette; for example, my spot was immediately taken by another student after a quick water break (though this is not the studio’s or the instructor’s fault). Additionally, I found that there were not a lot of reinforcements for students who were excessively filming using their phones during the dance class, which was extremely disruptive and uncomfortable. There was a regular who would constantly have her phone camera switched on at the front of the class, filming herself as well as those around her during warm-ups, drills, and practices. Given that the instructor records the final choreography at the end of the class, I find such actions unnecessary and also spoils the experiences for the rest of the class, particularly for those who just do not want to appear in her videos without consent. In short, I would highly recommend the dance package as the class size is smaller and the pace is more comfortable for beginners. I have personally stopped returning to this dance studio for open classes due to the crowd management and the poor etiquette of other students.
We signed up our girl for her first dance class with DP. She start off with kids class to now open classes. It has been years and still attending the classes. I will say the instructors are very professional, teaching and guiding the kids very well each step of their way. My to go dance classes studio for kids and adult open classes.
So each class experience totally rests on which teacher is taking the class . I love Li Rong for hip hop girls style and zamry too . Both of them hv Soo Soo Soo much flavour . I could literally take the same class twice n still learn at maximum capacity . That’s how much I take out of each class
Tried the Introductory Contemporary Dance class on Wednesday 6.30pm. The teacher, Natasha, was superb. Very clear instructions and she takes the time to explain the steps both in her warm up/conditioning exercises as well as her short choreography. She takes the time to correct us and to tell us how our bodies should work. Natasha is a beautiful dancer and enthusiastically shares her passion with her students! Kudos!!!
I have been visiting here regularly and I love the classes! Some of the class slots tend to fill up really fast so better book early! I like that the instructors are really passionate and willing to give briefings and tips after classes.

Danz Studio has not publicly listed its per-session rates, but dance schools in Singapore typically charge S$30–80 per session depending on the style, class format, and duration. Monthly packages or term fees are common and often work out cheaper than drop-in rates. A trial class may carry a separate, lower fee. Ask whether materials such as attire, footwear, or recital costumes are included or charged separately, and whether sibling or multi-class discounts are available. Confirm the cancellation and make-up class policy before committing to a package. See the full Dance Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many dance schools in Singapore offer a trial class so prospective students can assess whether the style, pace, and teaching approach suit them before signing up for a full term. It is worth asking Danz Studio whether a trial session is available, what the cost is, and whether the fee is credited towards enrolment if you proceed. During the trial, look at how the instructor manages the class, whether the level is appropriate for your child's age and experience, and whether the student feels comfortable and engaged. A single session is usually enough to gauge fit.
Danz Studio has not publicly listed information about its instructors' qualifications. For dance schools, relevant credentials may include formal training at a recognised dance academy, graded examination certifications (such as RAD for ballet or ISTD for a range of styles), performance experience, or years of teaching practice. It is reasonable to ask Danz Studio directly about the background of the instructor assigned to your child's class, which syllabus or framework the curriculum follows, and how instructors are matched to different age groups and levels.
