Enquiring with Divine Deco Singapore typically begins with sharing your event date, venue, and headcount so the team can assess setup access and lead time. For balloon installations, arch builds, and themed decor, the style consultation covers colour palette, balloon variety (organic, foil, latex), backdrop design, and any props or floral accents. Package pricing usually covers materials, setup, and teardown — confirm whether the quoted price is all-in or whether travel to non-central venues, after-hours setup windows, or condo and HDB void deck booking paperwork carries a separate charge. A deposit of 30–50% is standard on signing to hold the date; popular Saturdays in March, April, October, and November book out months in advance, particularly for weddings and solemnisations. Confirm wet-weather contingency if any portion of the setup is outdoors, and ask whether public liability insurance is held if the venue requires a certificate.
To get started, reach out via phone or the enquiry form with your event date, venue name, and a rough idea of the look you have in mind — the team can then advise on package fit and availability.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm the public liability insurance and any HDB / condo / hotel venue paperwork, and put the deliverables, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing.
We had a wonderful experience working with Ted Ang as our ID. He has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire renovation journey and is always very responsive whenever we have questions. What impressed us most is the layout he proposed, it was something no other ID suggested, and it truly made our home special. We absolutely love how our home turned out. Every guest who visits always comments on how nice, cozy, and homey the space feels. Ted guided us patiently through every detail, from material selections to design decisions, and his recommendations were always spot on. On top of that, his fun and easy-going personality made the whole process very enjoyable. Even our trips to different vendors to choose tiles and finishes felt relaxed and fun. We’re very grateful to have worked with Ted and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a creative, responsive, and dedicated ID.
Ted Ang is an absolute star. He took on our project with 2 hours notice after his colleague cancelled our appointment and soon after, left the company. He put together his vision for our house in super quick time, giving us ideas we did not think were possible. In fact, impossible was not a word he uttered during the entire renovation. Our 50 year old apartment now looks super modern and combines the style of both me and my wife. The price is very reasonable compared to other quotes we received but you really can’t put a price on the creative inspiration Ted brought to the table.
Ted has been absolutely wonderful and fantastic to work with. He is very experienced and able to provide sound and practical recommendations (not to mention innovative and refreshing ones) for us, and has been able to resolve any issues that have come up along the way. He has made the entire renovation journey fuss free right from the start, from providing the right design taking in our preferences and feedback, as well as options for materials selection and providing timely updates, to the final touches and handing over the apartment on time for us to move in. From budget perspective, it's pretty reasonable and none of those "5¢/10¢ additional cost, not in budget" nonsense. Would highly recommend Ted to anyone looking to refresh their homes.
First impressions always count for something, or more. When I walked into Divine & Glitz’s office at Lower Delta Road sometime in March, 2025, I liked who I saw. Selvina Lim and fellow interior designer Marcus Wong were all ears as I laid out my brief for a humble 2-room flexi flat whose keys I was scheduled to collect before the end of June. I wanted a feature wall designed with focus on the Cross (to remind me daily to honour God). After the near three-hour discussion, I came away with the conviction that I would get what I wish for from D&G, which was referred by Sixides. After I received my keys, Selvina and Marcus arranged to meet on site just hours later. Covering all details, big and small, project lead Selvina assured me D&G could deliver the desired results within a month - from the aircon and electrical technicians to the most important woodwork expert (and it turned out the master carpenter is a very good one, indeed, and a perfectionist like Selvina, Marcus and yours humbly). The wall feature took almost three weeks of toiling late into the night, with multiple revisions, before Selvina was convinced that she had come up with the perfect version. She was absolutely right - the positioning of the Cross, the walnut and stone grey laminates chosen for the wall feature complemented by the subtle cove lighting blended into a very simple yet impactful work of art. Selvina’s eye for detail and accent on wall colours was spot on as well. The dewy grey walls in the hallway look like they could enjoy afternoon tea anytime with the matching sweet bread adorning the rooms. Hues in harmony. Many thanks, too, to the respective workmen - I hear they have never let Selvina down in the past decade - for putting in the finishing touches; and I observed none fell behind schedule. Mind you, Selvina and Marcus did not have the luxury of a big budget to work with! I am grateful to Selvina - her words still echo in my ears: ‘No matter how small your project is, I will still do my best to make it a great home for you.’ And I will always remember how Selvina and Marcus worked diligently in under four weeks to turn my humble abode into a dream home. Go enjoy a nice cup of coffee at Divine & Glitz, and let Selvina and Marcus show you the way to your dream home afterwards.
The following is a detailed review of the renovation undertaken at our apartment in Singapore. The renovation project was managed by Mr Ted Ang, Senior Project Manager from Divine and Glitz. Mr Ted played a critical and important role in completing the extensive renovation to our satisfaction. We have since happily moved into our new home. Scope of Renovation. Apartment size around 2,000 square feet. Very extensive renovation involving many changes, improvements – a complete overhaul. The renovation included change in flooring, electrical wiring, plumbing, air conditioning, significant laminate and woodwork, appliances, bathrooms, doors, door frames, main gate, sanitary fittings, window grills etc. Given the scope of the project, we visited and interviewed with several Interior Designer companies and their teams, but we had lingering concerns about timeliness, quality, project management and cost management. After many months running around for the right fit, we were recommended Mr Ted’s name. From the first meeting itself, we came out much impressed and soon thereafter, decided to award the project to Divine and Glitz, project managed by Mr Ted Ang. We take this opportunity to thank Mr Ted for managing and delivering the renovation project to our satisfaction. As the renovation project had a large scope, we were keeping our fingers crossed about the completion date. But Mr Ted belied those concerns and surprised us by completing the most disruptive job of hacking, laying the new floor, concealed electrical wiring, replacing plumbing pipes and laying out brand-new air-conditioning ducts in record time. Once we crossed this hurdle, our confidence soared. Overall, we had a hassle-free experience, despite many challenges along the way. Our questions and concerns were adequately addressed. We are happy and look forward to maintaining and strengthening our relationship with Mr Ted. He is our referral “Go-to” Guy going forward for our friends, colleagues, and connections for renovation projects. Here are my ratings for each aspect and Mr Ted played the most critical role in each. (1) Owning the task/problem. Responsibility. Not putting the client in a tight spot but resolving the problem in a collaborative fashion and leading from the front. (5/5) (2) Responsiveness. Mr Ted is very responsive to the requirements and requests of the client. Mr Ted didn't let us down during the whole project. (5/5) (3) Timeliness = 4/5 (4) Communications = 5/5 (5) Resourcefulness = 5/5 Marshalling multiple resources at short notice within tight schedules. Managing interactions with building management, service providers, neighbours and vendors. We wish Mr Ted good health, greater success going forward, and more and more happy customers. Overall Recommendation for Mr Ted Ang = 5/5 We have no hesitation in Highly Recommending Mr Ted Ang.

Decor and balloon packages in Singapore typically range from S$300 to S$1,500 for installations such as balloon arches, backdrops, and themed table setups, with larger or more elaborate builds running higher. Divine Deco Singapore uses package-based pricing, so the final figure depends on the scope — number of set pieces, balloon types (organic, foil, latex, bubble), props, and whether floral accents are included. Itemise the following before signing: deposit required on booking (typically 30–50%), balance payment timeline, hours of setup and teardown included, travel surcharge for non-central venues, and GST if applicable. Ask whether condo function room or HDB void deck permit paperwork is handled by the decorator or left to you. See the full Decor & Balloons cost guide for Singapore →
For balloon and decor specialists, lead time of 6–12 weeks is advisable for birthday parties, baby full-month celebrations, and corporate events. Weddings and solemnisations should be locked in 4–6 months ahead, particularly for peak Saturdays in March, April, October, and November, when popular decorators are fully committed. A deposit secures the date — without one, the slot remains open to other bookings. If your event involves a specific colour palette, custom backdrop print, or large-scale installation, allow extra lead time for sourcing and production. Confirm whether Divine Deco Singapore can accommodate last-minute bookings for simpler setups and whether a surcharge applies.
The industry standard for event decor is a 30–50% deposit on signing to cover design consultation time, material reservation, and date hold. The balance is typically due one to two weeks before the event. Confirm in writing what the deposit covers, whether it is transferable to a rescheduled date, and under what circumstances it is forfeited. Ask about the rescheduling policy specifically — if a venue cancels or a public-health restriction forces postponement, reputable decorators generally allow a one-time rescheduling within a defined window without forfeiting the deposit. Also confirm whether public liability insurance is held, especially for setups at HDB void decks or condo function rooms where the venue management may request a copy of the certificate before granting setup access.
