About DJ Ghetto Singapore

About DJ Ghetto Singapore

DJ Ghetto Singapore is an entertainment provider offering DJ services for events across Singapore, based at River Valley Road. The listing is KakiList-verified, and the provider holds a 4.2/5 rating across 157 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reasonable confidence signal. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$) and structured around packages.

Enquiries typically begin with the event date, venue, and expected headcount, followed by a discussion of music genre preferences and event format — whether a corporate dinner and dance, wedding reception, birthday party, or private event. DJ sets are typically scoped by the number of hours required, and packages may differ for events requiring MC duties alongside music. It is worth confirming the equipment provision (PA system, mixer, lighting, microphones) and whether the quoted package covers setup and teardown time within or outside the performance window. A travel charge may apply for venues outside central Singapore, and a wet-weather contingency plan should be discussed for any outdoor portions. Deposit terms are standard at 30–50% on signing, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event.

To take the next step, reach out to DJ Ghetto Singapore via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form with your event date, venue, expected guest count, and preferred music style to receive a package quote and confirm availability.

Nightclub. Classy vibes. Lesser teenagers, more adults. Part of Zouk(one of the bigger nightclubs) This club is about 50% dance floor/sofas 50% bar counter. Some may feel it’s on the smaller side. $35 for cover charge, includes a drink. $~800 min spend for a table, accommodates about 8 pax. Music depends on the day of the week and the dj.

Amazing vibe on Friday night from 12 midnight onwards. Nice 2000s songs start playing around 1.30am. DJ needs to work on song transitions. Cover sgd35 for guys and free for ladies before 11pm, comes with 2 drink coupons for guys, 1 for ladies who enter foc. 30% off with kris+. Gin with mixer tasted alright. No complimentary water served, small bottle voss cost sgd5.99 which was ridiculous. Will be back for the vibe.

Capital at Clarke Quay offers an unforgettable nightclub experience with its seamless blend of lively music, premium service, and unique ambiance. From the moment you climb the stairs to enter, the floral-like fragrance and modern decor set the stage for an upscale yet fun night out. The DJ expertly mixes pop hits and EDM tracks, keeping the energy high throughout the night. The central bar area is a visual highlight, featuring contemporary koi fish art on the ceiling, a sleek white plant centerpiece, and a chic vibe. Drinks are available à la carte, with special discounts for professionals like bankers, lawyers, real estate agents, and air stewards who show their business cards. For larger groups, booking a table with a minimum spend unlocks the full Capital experience. Ordering champagne, vodka, or tequila bottles transforms into a mini-show, as a parade of synchronized staff delivers your drinks with props, confetti, and synchronized dancing. Watching the procession is pure entertainment! The service is impeccable—staff clear confetti instantly, mix drinks at your table, and work together seamlessly. Even the table bins are cleverly designed for quick clean-ups. The club’s interior combines old-world charm with modern flair, showcasing glass-encased decor and lush greenery. While the toilets are limited (just four stalls each for men and women), popcorn carts near the restroom add a playful touch. Perfect for patrons in their 20s and 30s, Capital is ideal for a night of great music, drinks, and memories.

Disappointing experience. The “Total Recall” theme had potential, but the execution was poor. Songs were repeatedly played throughout the night, to the point where it felt like the DJs either didn’t prepare proper sets or didn’t coordinate with each other. Hearing the same tracks over and over completely killed the flow and energy. For a venue with Zouk’s reputation, especially on the last day before a renovation shutdown, the standards should have been much higher. This was supposed to be a memorable send-off, but it came across as lazy and poorly planned. Overall, a bad experience and a letdown, especially for loyal regulars who expected something special instead of recycled playlists and repetition 🥲

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does DJ Ghetto Singapore charge?

DJ Ghetto Singapore prices DJ entertainment on a package basis, which is standard for the Singapore market. Typical DJ packages for private and corporate events in Singapore run from around S$600 for a 3-hour set at a smaller venue up to S$3,000 or more for full-day or multi-set bookings with full sound and lighting rigs. The final figure depends on the hours of coverage, equipment required (PA system, lighting, microphones), MC duties if included, and whether setup and teardown time falls within the booked window. Confirm in writing: deposit amount and schedule, balance due date, travel surcharge for non-central venues, overtime rate per additional hour, and whether GST applies. A written contract protects both parties if anything changes closer to the event date. See the full Entertainment cost guide for Singapore →

How far ahead should I book DJ Ghetto Singapore?

For weddings and corporate events, six to twelve months ahead is advisable — popular DJs on peak Saturday dates in March, April, October, and November tend to book out earliest in the year. For birthday parties and social events, six to twelve weeks is generally sufficient, though last-minute bookings depend entirely on calendar availability. Once you have a confirmed venue date, reach out promptly with the event details. The deposit — typically 30–50% of the package fee — secures the date and locks in the quoted rate. If your event includes an outdoor element, discuss a wet-weather or indoor-backup contingency at the time of booking rather than leaving it to closer to the date.

What does the deposit cover and what is the cancellation policy at DJ Ghetto Singapore?

The industry standard for Singapore event entertainment is a 30–50% deposit on signing to hold the date, with the remaining balance due one to two weeks before the event. The deposit typically covers the date reservation and any pre-event preparation such as playlist curation or site consultation. Deposits are generally non-refundable if the client cancels, though many providers allow the deposit to be transferred to a rescheduled date within a reasonable window. Confirm the rescheduling terms in writing before signing, especially if the event has an outdoor element or if the date could be affected by venue or access restrictions. Also ask about public liability insurance — some venues, particularly HDB void decks and condo function rooms, require a copy of the vendor's certificate before permitting setup.
