I went to Dr Chong to do a colonoscopy. I had a bad first experience with another doctor (woke up mid procedure), so was feeling quite nervous about it. Dr Chong listened to my concerns, and made me feel at ease. The scope itself was painless too, no doubt due to his years of experience. Very recommended!

My husband had an appt for his endoscopy at 8am He was told to come at 7.15am. We arrived at around 6.50am and we're the 2nd to arrive. We didn't know that we had to take a queue number. By the time we realize it, we managed to get queue number 6. After that the Nurse told my husband that his endoscopy turn will be around 9.30am.or slightly after. Infact my husband went in for his endoscopy after 10am. So ridiculous. I went to speak to one of the nurses and was told that there were 7 patients under the same Doctor on that morning. I told them that they should relook on how they fixed the booking for their patients. They cannot asked 7 patients to come at the same time, 8am. Every patients should have their own timing. No sense of time management. That was my first and last time there.

Dr Chong is an excellent and experience doctor with good skills. I went to see him for my gastric issue which bothered me for a while. He was accommodative to my busy working hours and stayed late to see me. He was very thorough with my medical history and made good judgement. His instruction was simple and easy to understand. On the day of scope, the procedure felt like a breeze. It was completed before i knew it. I had scope before many years ago, but previous experience was not pleasant as compared to this. i did not experience any discomfort after procedure and dr. chong also explained the findings to me. He emailed me the results of the biopsy subsequently and communicated to me on the results. Highly recommended for his care and skills!
