Dr Desmond performed surgery on my mother for her Chronic Venous Insufficiency, and we are incredibly grateful for his care and expertise. I was looking for a surgeon to implant a Portacath as I need to do Chemotherapy. Dr Shang of Icon introduced him to me and we managed to meet up with the expertise of his two wonderful nurses Nadia and Nurul who organised the consultation and arranging a day surgery procedure. Everyone who comes face to face with Dr Ooi will feel really relaxed as he is so humorous and humble. I did not encounter fear but trust he will do a good job which he did. He even sent his nurse to see to my discharge when he had to attend an emergency call but spoke to me on the phone to apologize. We look forward to more doctors like him and the medical world will be a better place to live .
