Dr TanSH displays a kind and gentle disposition. His gentle touching of his patients’ hands give a calming effect and he can better diagnose. His concerns for the wellbeing of his patients are much appreciated. Reading the reviews from his patients, his practice has not changed over the years, even till today in 2025. He is still ever so patient, does not brush nor rush his patient off, and offers explanations clearly and professionally. He is very easy to form a bond which puts his patients at ease. My daughter saw Dr. Tan Soo Heong in March 2025 because she was having pain in her left hand and couldn’t bend her fingers. Dr. Tan was really kind and patient throughout the whole process. Dr Tan is a wonderful doctor and surgeon. I went to see him for trigger thumb. He listens, he explains everything in plain English, he's compassionate. He doesn't patronize. Dr Tan Soo Heong is a doctor who really show compassion. I consulted Doctor Tan on 14.9.2020. He patiently listen, conducted ultra sound scan to understand my pronlem.. Realising that it is not a problem with my hand but other existing issue that resulted in the blood clot, he encouraged me to seek the right medical treatment immediately. He helps write up a letter on his finding for my follow up with my other doctor. To my surprised, despite spending at least 30 minute of his professional time, he also instruct his staff not to collect any payment since problem is not related to hand. I was so surprised and really touched by his kind action. This is what i call a real professional . Thank you Dr Tan, u make me realised that there are still people with a heart in this tiny island of singapore.
