About Fable
Fable is a dance school operating islandwide from its studio at UE Square, Clemenceau Avenue, and is verified by KakiList. It holds a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5 across 45 reviews — a moderate sample that is encouraging but worth reading in full before making a decision. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific session or monthly fees are not publicly listed.
Prospective students or parents should enquire about level and syllabus fit — whether classes cater to beginners, intermediate, or advanced dancers, and which dance styles are offered. It is worth asking whether Fable runs group classes or one-to-one sessions, what the term commitment looks like, and whether a trial class is available before signing up for a full term. The studio is based at UE Square, so families should factor in accessibility by MRT or bus when considering the location.
To take the next step, reach out to Fable via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current class schedules, available levels, and trial class options before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
My experiences varied depending on the instructor. For example, I had an instructor who was excellent at breaking down steps and good at pacing her classes. It felt like she really wanted you to learn. Then I took another class by one of the founders, who wasn’t patient or friendly towards beginners—they’ll ignore you or make unprofessional comments about you in class. Then they’ll turn around and yap with their fellow instructors, who are their friends. It was awkward to want to learn as a paying student only to feel like you’re back in high school with a teacher who doesn’t like you. The vibe of the class run by this instructor versus the other instructors I experienced were night and day. I tried to ignore her behavior until I talked to my friends about my time in Fable and tried to get them to join me in aerial… then they looked at me like “dude the instructor said and did that? that’s so weird and mean.” So yeah… I did some digging and my experiences paralleled those described in reviews I read on classpass. Not sure if I received this treatment because 1. I sucked as a beginner and they’d rather teach the more capable and advanced students (in a beginner class), or 2. they thought I came from classpass (though I didn’t lol I bought directly from Fable) and they have something against that app’s users? I genuinely don’t know what their issue was or what I could’ve done differently in class. I even thought I was incompetent, until I learned and progressed a lot more in other instructors’ lessons. Still, I recommend trying out Fable. It’s a gorgeous studio that clearly cares about its business. But don’t be scared to try out classes with different instructors, until you find one whose teaching style gels with your learning style. And whose teacher doesn’t have an uncommunicated thing against you lmaooo Won’t lie though, I’ve become wary about exploring classes with instructors I don’t know because of this 💀 Not keen on spending $30-40 per class to feel like I gotta navigate high school again.
I had the privilege to learn aerial hammock from Charlene who is a great teacher and dancer. She will patiently break down and demonstrate the movement/ tricks, and also ensure that all of us are safe executing it. I didn’t expect myself to start a new aerial hobby at 45 years old but by Charlene’s great classes, I’m definitely sold! Everything is possible if you are willing to try; choosing the right teacher is a smart decision I made!
Fable has beautiful pole and aerial studios with high ceilings and a clean environment located near the mrt. The instructors at Fable are very professional in delivering the lessons, encouraging and going into details, making sure we perform to the best of our abilities. I can feel the passion shown by the instructors when they teach. Thank you Teacher Charlene, Gemma, Shev & all the other amazing instructors! Fable is a safe space to learn. I am always excited to see what they come up with every term! 🤩
Absolutely addicted to the gorgeous teachers, dancers, choreographies, and community in this beautiful space. Loved every class as we get stronger, flowy-er, sharper, and bendier together and make new friends from all walks of life and ages; coming together for the common love of dance, flying, and movement. Happy 1 year anniversary and thanks for the opportunity to participate in the showcase! Looking forward to many more amazing choreographies in the years ahead. 💕
currently taking a pole techniques 1/2 term with asa and she is the most encouraging, bubbly, attentive, and knowledgeable! the way she explains the techniques helps us understand them step by step, and she provides alternative steps for total beginners or weaker students since these are mixed level classes. she will push you slightly out of your comfort zone to achieve your best form but not too much that you get injured. highly recommended studio and instructor if you're looking for a pole studio!

Fable does not publicly list its fees, so you will need to contact the studio directly for current pricing. Dance schools in Singapore typically charge on a per-session, monthly, or per-term basis, with group classes generally ranging from S$30–80 per session depending on the style, level, and class size. One-to-one instruction tends to cost more. Ask whether a trial class is available and at what cost, and clarify whether there are any registration fees, costume or recital fees, or materials charges on top of the standard class fee. Package or sibling discounts are worth enquiring about if you are enrolling more than one child. See the full dance school cost guide for Singapore →
Many dance schools in Singapore offer a trial class — either free or at a reduced fee — before you commit to a full term. When attending a trial, observe whether the pace and level suit the student, how the instructor communicates with the class, and whether the student is engaged throughout. A trial is also a good opportunity to assess class size and the general atmosphere of the studio. Contact Fable directly to confirm whether a trial class is offered, how to book one, and what it costs. If no formal trial is available, ask whether you can observe a regular class before enrolling.
Fable's instructor credentials are not listed publicly. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about each instructor's dance training background, any teaching qualifications or performing arts certifications, and how long they have been teaching. For children's classes in particular, experience with age-appropriate pedagogy matters alongside technical skill. If syllabus-aligned examinations are offered — such as RAD for ballet or ISTD for ballroom and Latin — ask which examining body the school works with and what the examination fees and pass rates look like. If credentials are not volunteered upfront, request them directly before committing to a term.
If Fable isn't the right fit, these are other dance schools providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
