I had an unsatisfactory experience with Dr. Yeow Yu Yi. I visited him with a GP referral letter and had already completed a urine test, which was negative. Despite this, he requested that I repeat the test and undergo an ultrasound scan. During the consultation, he did not clearly explain my symptoms or provide any diagnosis, yet I was still charged the full consultation fee. When the test results came back negative again (as expected), the clinic staff simply informed me not to return, without offering any follow-up explanation or advice. Overall, the experience felt dismissive and profit-driven rather than patient-centred. I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience.
Sometimes in life, when sudden tragedy strikes you, you don't have the luxury of time to find the right person to treat you. In my case, on 20th January 2022, I was admitted to Farrer Park Hospital and was referred to Dr Lewis Liew for surgery to insert a DJ stent the very next day because my left ureter which connects the kidney to my bladder was narrow. That was more than 3 years ago & unfortunately, I still have to replace my stent every 6 months or so because the passage of the ureter has not gone back to its normal size. However, having said that, I'm very grateful I have Dr Liew to treat me. Not only is he a very good Urologist, but he is also very kind, calm, always jovial, smiling & most importantly, very caring. It's not what you have that matters most but what matters most is WHO is treating you! I would also like to mention Tan Ming Wei, who runs the Clinic's Advanced Urology. He has been amazing from answering all my concerns regarding claims from Insurance, preparation for admission and so on and so forth. Ming Wei is reliable & dependable. Together with Dr Lewis Liew, I am Truly Blessed that I'm so well taken care of, thank you both from the bottom of my heart.
Wonderful experience with advanced urology! Doctor Ronny Tan was very professional and staffs there were utmost helpful!
