Some time back, we wanted to get decking done for our property. We found a few vendors and contacted them. One of them is Fukai. A review as follows: Positives - very quick initial response when contacted over WhatsApp - group chat was set up very quickly - very quick response to do site survey by Michelle - very good at detailing their track record of working on large projects with government or government agencies. - nice marketing brochure in electronic and hardcopy. Plus they are happy to leave you a sample of the wood composite - 5 year warranty for The New Wood from Australia - very quick response on providing quote - @ site visit, they mentioned multiple times that they will give a good price and indeed they are cheapest/lowest quote. Fukai is about 30% below the highest quote we received Red flags - post site visit, multiple WA reminders that they are running low on stock and we should confirm ASAP. Next container of materials XX% price increase. Another whats app to say that a client just confirmed and that the colour we like is low on stock. We should confirm ASAP. Pressure selling? - When customer says they are keen and  would like to confirm, within the hour they sent request for 50% payment via whatsapp with no official invoice, no Ts & Cs, project start date etc. Question : would a government agency make payment with no official quote / invoice? - we had to ask multiple times for project start date before getting a response. This is a red flag to us - at site visit, they gave confident reply verbally when asked about the job and specific nuances and said can be done. But when on whatsapp and also for request inclusion into quote, they will say "my contractor charges XX and cost will be past onto you". They mentioned multiple times. I understand there will be charges during variation order. But at site visit/quotation, we asked for it to be included. It leads me to think that Fukai might just be an importer of materials and subcontract out to installers (?) - see below on warranty issues. - when the invoiced was emailed : ** it sets out the payment terms. 50% deposit, 30% @ commencement and 20% on completion. All other contractors are 50% deposit; 50% completion. When we feedback, Michelle said - standard policy. Michelle also said not to worry...when Fukai received the payment, they already completed the job. This deviates from industry norm to have 80% paid upfront. This is precisely the reason I'm worried ** warranty // they said 5 years warranty but in invoice in whatsapp quote, 1 yr if use aluminium baten. 5yrs if baten is same composite material. When queried that other  contractors have quoted 10 Yr warranty but wpc made in China, they say that if 10 years they need to charge 50% more. Australia quality 5yr warranty but to ask for 10yr warranty they need to use Europe wpc which is 50% more. Make sense? // in the quote, wpc warranty is stated as against rot under manufacturers fault only. How do we proof this down the road ? Other warranty clause we saw are against manufacturer defects. Not sure which is worse //1 month on workmanship which is a significant deviation from market norm of 1 yr. This leads me to suspect that installers are subcontracted out. It is a major concern to me // structure - other vendors offered 10year on aluminium baten / structure which matches the wpc warranty. Fukai offered 1yr for aluminum baten In the end, warranty period may be a marketing gimmick and devil in the details in the words. For 10 years, also not sure whether vendor will honor as warranty description is so vague in such quotes. After many days of thinking, we decided that we are not comfortable and decided not to proceed with Fukai. We wanted to share our experience and thought process. Readers would have to decide for themselves what they are comfortable with.

Just went to case trust on them with their responses on the cracks and leakages. I bought less than a month… well those who suffered should just submit your claim to Case Trust for this company.
