They don’t even deserve the one star to begin with. Initially thought they were good under Rise. Later did I realised it was such a big mistake. I booked them for moving and storage as my other place wasn’t ready. Anyway, Ghosting is their forte. Similar with other reviewers, booked with Rise and some random individual Kevin responded. They overlooked the delivery date for my storage items and I wasted my leave to stay home wait for them. End of delivery after making payment cos the guys were in a hurry to go, I realised they missed out my TV. Chased Kevin to hunt down my TV but empty promises to say it will be delivered. One month passed, I even offered to pick up from their warehouse. Kevin kept saying he will deliver and claims my TV still there but nothing happened. Whoever thinking of using them, they offer you cheap rates but use with extra caution as your things may either go missing or you wait in vain. Am going to make a police report cos give. Kevin too many chances.

I booked a moving service with them and paid $50 for the booking, but the payment was made to an individual rather than the company. They delivered the boxes on the agreed date. However, the day before the move, a different person contacted me requesting photos of all my items, supposedly to prepare the team. But on the actual moving day, the movers were nowhere to be found. I had a moving job scheduled for 9am, but the team leader claimed his truck was involved in an accident. Another team arrived around 11am in a Lalamove truck, which worked out fine since I just needed the move done. I paid the full amount after the move was completed. However, the issue arose when it came to returning the boxes and getting my $50 deposit back. Despite agreeing on a 3-day pickup schedule with the team leader, no one showed up. He became unresponsive and stopped answering calls. Be cautious if considering hiring their service. They'll take your deposit and then ghost you.

We are so grateful to Gem Movers for saving us at the very last moment! Our original movers ditched us on 15 August, and Gem Movers immediately took up the job. They sent 2 trucks quickly, worked super efficiently, and managed to complete the entire move in just 4 hours. On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable. They were punctual, responsive for our queries and doubts, did the packaging well and quick. But we thought they should have taken more boxes on trolleys, because there was lot of space still there in the top, if they would have done that, we didn't need to take one more lala move transport for the leftovers and didn't have to spend 100 bucks. They had taken only 5 to 6 per trolley. And they said they would charge $180 for the other half truck. They were delaying our deposit $50 even after we asked many times for the carton boxes after we handed over them.

This mover is not recommended! Engaged their mover service in March, paid deposit, confirmed everything. Had a very tough time chasing back for my deposit of $50 and it has been over 6 months! Unresponsive to messages. They even blocked my number. Utterly disappointed, i won't even give 1 star!!
