About "Ginny and Friends Dog Day Care"
Ginny and Friends Dog Day Care is a pet sitting and dog walking service operating islandwide from its base at 9 Thong Soon Ave, Singapore 787436. The listing is KakiList verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the operating details and contact channels. The service holds a perfect 5-out-of-5 rating across 41 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that lends reasonable confidence to that score. Pricing sits at the mid-range marker of two dollar signs, though a detailed rate card is not publicly listed and prospective clients should enquire directly for a quote.
When reaching out, it helps to have your dog's size, breed, and general temperament ready, as these factors typically influence the care approach and, where relevant, pricing. Providers in this category usually ask for up-to-date vaccination records before a first booking — expect to share proof of core vaccinations at the point of enquiry. A trial visit or short introductory session is a sensible first step before committing to a recurring schedule, giving both your dog and the care team a chance to assess compatibility. You can contact Ginny and Friends via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form, and it is worth clarifying drop-off arrangements and any breed-specific handling needs at that first conversation.
To get started, send a WhatsApp message with your dog's breed, size, vaccination status, and your preferred service dates to request a quote and check availability.
Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
Honestly, meeting Candy and the Kaizen team has been such a comfort. As a first-time owner with a young rescue pup, I was feeling pretty overwhelmed with things like mouthing, barking, lunging, even a bit of resource guarding. Thanks to Candy's guidance, I’ve grown a lot more confident, and my SS has improved so much — especially with leash walking and learning how to play properly with other dogs. We’re definitely still a work in progress, but what makes Candy so special is that she doesn’t just care for the dogs — she really cares for the owners too. She shares her knowledge with so much patience and understanding, and it means a lot to have that kind of support, especially when things feel tough. I’m really grateful to have found a community like this, and a safe, happy space for my pup when I’m away.
Highly recommend Candy for her positive-reinforcement (R+), science-based, and fear-free approach to training and boarding. We’ve worked with her for about 3 years, and she is the only person I trust 100% with my dogs. Both my dogs are Singapore Specials with anxiety, fears, and reactivity. Candy understands what many pet guardians don’t yet realise: punitive or aversive methods only suppress behaviour - they don’t help dogs feel safer. Her work is grounded in modern behavioural science, consent, and reducing distress, which is especially important for sensitive and misunderstood dogs like ours. Over the years, my dogs have boarded with Candy multiple times while I travelled. Leaving them with her was complete peace of mind. Her updates showed how thoughtfully she plans interactions - even managing transitions between spaces to minimise exposure to triggers and keep the dogs under threshold. One of my dogs is extremely shy of human touch and actively avoids strangers. When he first boarded with Candy, she didn’t force interaction. She let him set the pace, used well-timed rewards, and respected his agency. Over time, he chose to approach her - and eventually started seeking her out for his favourite butt scratches! That alone speaks volumes about her skill and ethics. Candy also supported us through reintegrating my two dogs after a fight. She gave clear, practical advice on space management, arousal control, and short, achievable exercises to rebuild positive associations. What I especially appreciated was how she tailored everything to my reality - my home layout, my emotional bandwidth, and the fact that I was training alone. She helped me redesign my space to create safe management zones and avoid further conflict. A truly good pet professional also cares about the human guardian. Candy does. She encourages, listens, and meets you where you are. When I had to leave one of my dogs behind in Singapore during my relocation, she stepped up to board him, acclimatised him to his travel crate, and handled vet visits for pre-flight checks. His relocation would not have gone nearly as smoothly without her. If you’re looking for a trainer or boarder who is ethical, science-led, and genuinely invested in both dogs and their humans - especially if you have a Singapore Special - Candy is a rare find.
went through the adore program as adopting a ss. candy was very gentle and helpful in guiding our training w our dog. she’s very encouraging in our journey and we felt our dog quickly thrived as the training progresses. her training was also very useful in everyday interactions with the dog as he was gently guided into checking in with us. she’s taught us a lot about his behaviours as well as the reason behind his fears and with that understanding, we can create a better space for his wellbeing. candy’s great, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
We are so grateful to have had Candy from Kaizen 4 Dog guide us through the training process with our new puppy. As first-time pet owners, we adopted an 11-week-old Singapore Special and had little experience in caring for or training a puppy. Thanks to Candy's expert guidance and support, we've gained the confidence we needed, and our 20 weeks old puppy is thriving. Candy’s patient and encouraging approach, paired with her knowledge of positive reinforcement training, has made the process smooth and stress-free. We highly recommend Candy and Kaizen 4 Dog to anyone seeking professional, supportive dog training!
Ginger has benefitted SO MUCH from learning and staying at Kaizen, the trainers and staff at Kaizen are so loving and caring of all the dogs' safety and needs. I have learned so much about dog behavior, what signals to look out for to understand why dogs do certain things and what they are telling us with their body language. I'm so grateful to Candy for the very informative training sessions, and so happy that I can always rely on Kaizen for daycare, I know the Ginger is in the best care.

Ginny and Friends Dog Day Care displays a mid-range price indicator, but a detailed rate card is not publicly listed. In the Singapore market, dog day care and pet sitting services typically charge by the visit, the half-day, or the full day, with rates varying based on your dog's size, breed, and coat type. Add-ons such as teeth brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, or de-shedding treatments are usually priced separately. For mobile or drop-off arrangements, it is worth confirming whether any transport or travel surcharge applies, and whether there is a minimum booking period for recurring schedules. Ask for a written quote that breaks down the base rate and any extras before confirming your first booking. See the full dog walking and pet sitting cost guide for Singapore →
Most reputable dog day care and pet sitting providers in Singapore require dogs to be current on core vaccinations before accepting a booking. For dogs, this typically means DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) and rabies, with records dated within the past 12 months. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is also commonly required for any service involving close contact with other dogs, including day care and boarding. You should have your dog's vaccination booklet or a vet-issued certificate ready to present at the first drop-off or trial visit. If your dog's vaccinations are due for renewal, schedule a vet appointment before enquiring about service dates. Contact Ginny and Friends directly to confirm their specific vaccination policy, as requirements can vary by provider.
Ginny and Friends Dog Day Care is KakiList verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. The service holds a 5-out-of-5 rating from 41 Google reviews, which is a moderate sample and broadly encouraging. It is not currently listed as ACRA registered on this profile. For pet day care and sitting services in Singapore, the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) under NParks licenses commercial boarding and grooming facilities. No AVS licence is listed for this provider, so it is advisable to ask directly whether the relevant licence is held and what insurance cover — if any — applies in the event your dog is injured or falls unwell during a session. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
