Thank you Prof you have been my father’s doctor since 1997 until now. He suffered from gout and lately he got autoimmune. But he’s getting better now
Dr. Leong is a doctor who sincerely treats his patients. I am very grateful to God for being blessed to meet Dr. Leong. I hope Dr. Leong will always be healthy and have a long life so that he can continue to treat patients. Thank you, Dr. Leong.
I have been visiting Dr Leong for my condition about 9 months ago and my pain is now well-controlled with the medications prescribed which I am extremely grateful. He is not only an expert in rheumatology but also the most patient and humble specialist who genuinely care about his patients. I started off knowing nothing about my condition or blood test results but he has explained them in detailed during each consultation. The waiting time to see Dr Leong can be long at times but I would have to say it’s worth the wait and queue.
Unfortunately the practice is poorly managed and has no concept of how appointments work. I have visited the practice several times and each appointment take at least 1-1.5 hours after my scheduled time before I am seen (noting that no tests need to be done before the consult and this is purely a waiting room scenario). For context, I have arrived once at the time of my appointment to be told I have 10 people ahead of me. Feedback was provided to the practice but the response of the front desk was that “Dr Leong is very busy”. This is besides the point as the solution is then to spread appointments apart. Appointments are frequently rescheduled with minimal notice too. It appears that appointments are scheduled based on what is most convenient for the practice rather than respect for the time of their patients.
I visited dr Leong in 2017 when recommended by my gynecologist, dr Gordon Tan who’s in gleneagles as well. Dr Leong is a very encouraging person, always assuring me not to worry, no matter what the blood test result might be. He doesn’t use difficult medical terms to explain. He’s mindful of my finance, advising me on more affordable alternatives that are as effective as those expensive medications. Also, he works towards me getting better so that I can visit him less and less frequent! I’m very thankful for knowing him☺️
