Enquiring with Goodwood Florist typically begins with sharing your event date, venue, and a general sense of theme or colour palette — whether for a wedding ceremony (bridal bouquet, aisle arrangements, altar backdrop), a baby full-month or 100-day table display, a corporate event centrepiece, or everyday occasion florals. Confirm whether you require a site recce at your venue, how far in advance the arrangements are prepared and delivered, and whether the quoted package covers setup and teardown or delivery only. Lead times vary by scope: bridal bouquets and ceremony arrangements typically need two to four weeks minimum, whilst more elaborate installations benefit from a longer runway. Ask about wet-weather contingency for outdoor setups and whether a travel surcharge applies for venues outside the central region.
To take the next step, reach Goodwood Florist by phone or through the enquiry form on the listing, share your event date and rough brief, and request an itemised package quote with the balance payment schedule in writing before confirming.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm the public liability insurance and any HDB / condo / hotel venue paperwork, and put the deliverables, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing.
Lovely nursery to visit along this Thomson stretch. Though I didn’t find anything to catch my eye. The nursery is neat and beautiful, will be back.
Visited Goodwood Florist, lots of beautiful, fresh flowers, reasonable prices, and friendly service. A nice place to pick up bouquets and plants!
So happy w the outcome! Went to Goodwood looking for plants that are easier to grow and “suitable” for my fairy garden theme 😂 Goodwood has many options for such small plants (they come in small pots!) and I had them repot a variety of these plants for me into a planter box. Repotting service cost $5 but I would say it’s really worth it! The staff, Soe, was very patient and helpful! He chose the plants that would be aesthetic for my theme and also adjusted the positions of the plants accordingly so that I could still fit my figurine in. He also suggested how many plants/figurines I should put so that it won’t look too crowded. Thanks Soe!
Came to Goodwood to buy plants. Left feeling insulted and angry. This shop seriously needs to train its staff or shut the counter. We bought two pussy willows of clearly different heights and were charged the same price. My mum politely pointed out the obvious price difference. Instead of checking, the cashier brushed it off and insisted it was “the same thing” — either he doesn’t know his own products or simply doesn’t care. When questioned, his response was rude and sarcastic: “Then take something with a price tag.” So what now? Customers are supposed to guess prices, do staff work, or magically know your system? If there’s no price tag, that’s YOUR failure, not the customer’s problem. If you’re unsure: • Walk back and check • Bring the price tags • Label by height properly Basic retail skills. Apparently too much to ask. Instead of fixing the issue, the cashier chose to take his stress and attitude out on paying customers. If you can’t handle customer service, don’t work at the counter. Take it up with your boss, not the people giving you business. What should’ve been a pleasant plant purchase turned into a disgusting experience. Zero respect. Zero professionalism. Zero accountability. One star is generous. Will never return. Strongly advise others to avoid unless you enjoy being talked down to. The lady cashier okay, is the indian fellow who is helping the lady, He trolling. End up being so upset didnt even bother with the refund
I have been a regular supporter and have made several purchases from your shop. Yesterday, I dropped by to get a pot of CNY plant and was in a very happy mood, looking forward to bringing a lovely plant home. Although parking was a little challenging due to the festive season, had to walk some distance in the afternoon, I was still excited about my purchase. Everything was pleasant until I reached the cashier. I was taken aback by the tone and manner of the middle aged man at the counter. He seemed rather grumpy and rude, which made the interaction feel uncomfortable. It was slightly disappointing, as I had been so happy with my purchase up to that point. I hope you might look into this, as I truly enjoy shopping at your store and would love for every visit to remain a positive experience. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback.

Floral pricing depends heavily on the scope and flower varieties chosen. As a general guide, bridal bouquets in Singapore typically run S$150–500+, ceremony aisle arrangements S$300–1,500, and larger floral installations or backdrop walls S$800–4,000+. Everyday occasion arrangements and table centrepieces tend to sit between S$80 and S$400 per piece. Confirm what the quoted package includes: flower variety and seasonal substitution policy, delivery and setup fee, teardown, and any travel surcharge for non-central venues. A deposit of 30–50% on signing is standard to secure the date, with the balance typically due one to two weeks before the event. GST will apply where the provider is GST-registered. For weddings, booking two to four months ahead is a reasonable minimum; popular Saturdays in March, April, October, and November book out earliest, so six months lead time is safer if your date falls in these windows. Baby full-month and corporate event florals can usually be arranged with four to six weeks' notice. For everyday occasion flowers and smaller arrangements, one to two weeks is generally sufficient, though same-day or next-day orders depend on stock availability and may carry a surcharge. Confirm whether Goodwood Florist holds your date on enquiry or only on receipt of a deposit — a written booking confirmation protects both parties.
The Singapore industry standard for floral bookings is a 30–50% non-refundable deposit on signing to secure the event date and begin sourcing flowers, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event. Confirm in writing whether the deposit is transferable to a rescheduled date should the event be postponed, and what happens if specific flowers requested are out of season or unavailable — a reputable florist will offer comparable substitutes with your approval rather than substituting silently. Also ask about public liability insurance if arrangements involve setup at an HDB void deck, condo function room, or hotel venue, as some venues require proof of coverage from external vendors. Lock in all deliverables, delivery time, setup scope, and rescheduling terms in writing before paying.
