About Grace Lodge

About Grace Lodge

Grace Lodge is a senior daycare provider based in Compassvale Walk, Sengkang, serving families across Singapore. It holds a KakiList verification and carries a 4.2/5 rating across 53 Google reviews, which represents a moderate sample and can be treated with reasonable confidence. Pricing is indicated at a mid-range level, though specific hourly or daily rates are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the centre.

Families typically begin by requesting a care assessment to establish the elder's mobility level, medical conditions, and daily support needs. Senior daycare is structured around daytime attendance — usually weekday hours — returning the elder home in the evening, which suits families where a full-time caregiver is not required but some structured supervision and social engagement during the day is beneficial. When enquiring, it is worth clarifying the programme schedule, staff-to-participant ratio, transportation arrangements, and whether nursing or therapy support is available on site. A trial period is advisable before committing to a recurring arrangement, and the care plan, attendance hours, and fees should all be confirmed in writing.

To explore whether Grace Lodge is the right fit, contact the centre by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing, request a visit to observe the daily programme, and ask about current availability before arranging a formal care assessment.

There are 2 occasions recently that the order taking lady did not want to take our orders just because there were too many orders in front of us. we reached there at 5.20pm that was before the cut off time 5.45pm according to the order taking lady. Waste our trip there as we are not staying nearby and need to rush for my child tuition at 6pm. We are very disappointed with this kind of service as they are not compassionate towards people who are vegetarian. Not easy to find pure vegetarian food in such a rush. We dare not go there anymore as we scare of being rejected as we are unable to know whether they have many orders in front of us. We hope that they can extent their hour to 8pm in order to promote and encourage more people to go vegetarian. 阿弥陀佛。

Went there several times for its vegetarian meals. Surprisingly attracted quite an amount of people, especially during 1st and 15th of the lunar month. The food is great but the queue system doesn't seem to be very efficient and in turn affected their own service attitude.

A quiet and peaceful place to have a cup of tea or coffee and also good vegetarian food in an air condition canteen with a television switch on. Parking fee is not high, the canteen is at level 2 and very near the lift. The canteen opens from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm from Monday to Saturday, close on Sunday. First Posted : 01/01/2018( Monday ). Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Grace Lodge charge?

Grace Lodge does not publish a specific daily or monthly rate publicly, so fees should be confirmed directly with the centre. As a general guide, senior daycare in Singapore typically runs S$60–120 per day depending on the level of care provided, with monthly packages available for regular attendees. Some centres charge separately for transport, meals, and nursing or therapy components, so it is worth asking for a full cost breakdown. Families caring for a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident elder may be eligible for subsidies through the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), which can significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs. Ask Grace Lodge whether they are an AIC-funded centre and whether they can assist with subsidy applications. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →

Live-in or visit-based — which does Grace Lodge offer?

Grace Lodge operates as a senior daycare centre, meaning elders attend during the day and return home in the evenings — this is a visit-based model rather than live-in care. It suits families who are present overnight but require structured daytime support, social engagement, and supervision for their elder. Typical daycare hours run from around 7am to 7pm, though exact hours vary by centre. Families should confirm attendance days, transport availability, and what happens if the elder is unwell on a given day. If overnight or round-the-clock care is needed, Grace Lodge is unlikely to meet those needs, and a different arrangement such as a residential care home or live-in caregiver would be more appropriate. A short trial period is recommended before committing to a regular schedule.

Is the caregiver trained and insured?

Grace Lodge has not listed specific regulatory licences or staff certifications in its public profile, so families should ask directly about staff qualifications, including whether care staff hold relevant certificates in elder care, dementia support, or first aid. Reputable daycare centres in Singapore typically have staff trained to the WSQ Care Support Worker or equivalent standard. It is also worth confirming whether the centre is registered with the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) or the Ministry of Health (MOH), as registration signals compliance with care quality standards. Ask about insurance coverage for incidents involving participants during programme hours. Regulatory licences held are not currently listed for Grace Lodge — confirm this directly before enrolling.
