My son has been part of Curos since its very first day at the Thomson branch, making him one of the pioneer batch. Over the past 1.5 years, I have witnessed how the management and teachers consistently show through their actions-what it truly means to care for students. They humbly listen to parents, take in feedback, and improve because they genuinely value parents’ voices and students’ well-being. I have personally seen how Teacher Eldon and his team not only uphold good behavior and manners in class, but also go beyond academics to nurture important life values. From organizing food donation drives for the elderly to teaching entrepreneurship by guiding the children in setting up a café—creating menus, preparing dishes, and serving us parents. They instill lessons that extend far beyond textbooks. Were the dishes tasty? Honestly, no but that wasn’t the point. The real value lay in witnessing our children’s growth, independence, and potential when given the chance to try without our constant help. It was a reminder for us parents to trust our children more and not keep them in a bubble. None of this would have been possible without the teachers’ meticulous planning and dedication. I also deeply appreciate the day-to-day efforts that often go unnoticed. From providing daily homework updates on Telegram, to ferrying students across multiple Hua Cheng and Learning Points classes, to patiently going through not only schoolwork and spelling but also enrichment assignments. They shoulder tasks that many of us parents find challenging even with one child and yet the teachers are doing it with so many students daily. Let’s not forget all the hair pulling moments we parents once had while teaching our kids ting xie/ spellings and because teachers in Curos had done a wonderful job in this, it had allow us to spend more quality (and amicable 🤣)time with our children at home. On a personal note , I’m most grateful for the fact that Curos has never felt like a commercial institution driven solely by monetary returns. Instead, the team has shown flexibility and genuine care in supporting parents like myself when circumstance arises. I’m thankful for all the above and beyond which I’m sure would have got rejected had I stayed in the previous student care. On this Teacher’s Day, I salute Teacher Eldon and the entire Curos team of teachers. Your passion, hard work, and heart deserve to be celebrated not just today, but every day. Thank you for walking this journey with our children and with us parents Debra .
My kids joined CUROS from the start of the year and I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all the teachers in CUROS for making CUROS such a safe, welcoming and engaging space for the kids that they always look forward to being there. Even during school holidays, they would enthusiastically wake up early just to be in CUROS by 8am. It is such convenience to have CUROS plan and shuttle the kids to their respective Learning Point & Hua Cheng classes during the after-school hours so we can keep our evenings and weekends free. CUROS teachers also go through school work and LP & HC work with the kids during Homework Success which is extremely helpful. I also really appreciate that we get structured updates on homework daily and reports from their LP & HC teachers every term. It really helps parents to keep track of our kids' progress. I am most impressed by the way Teacher Eldon and his team handle feedback and are always so ready to work with us parents to find ways to help our kids improve in various aspects. Teacher Eldon, Teacher Ling Hui, Teacher Shahirah and also Teacher Vivien Teacher Rachel and Teacher Vendolyn - Happy Teachers' Day and thank you for all the love and effort you guys have poured into the kids!
My son looks forward to attending Curos! It is convenient for children to attend tuition during student care hours, so the weekend can be free from classes. He also enjoys the holistic activities like 3D printing and excursions (Botanic Gardens, Climb Central etc) arranged by Curos during the school holidays. The teachers especially Tr Eldon, are helpful and responsive to our queries. They go the extra mile in ensuring minimal gaps in their learning. Thank you teachers!
Curos wasn’t the first choice for my daughter’s student care . But after some careful consideration and review from friend we decided to sign up with them . It turned out to be the best choice for my daughter . She looks forward to going to Curos and even to the extent of skipping playdate just so that she won’t missed her class . The teachers are a caring bunch and always try to accommodate to our requests .
My twins started our CUROs journey since Mar 2023 and we haven’t looked back since. They look forward to attending CUROs everyday after school. The teachers are especially caring and responsible. I like that the teachers treat them almost friends-like and they can talk to them about everything that happened in school..I see tutors and students forming exceptional bond over a game of table soccer after class which is very heart warming. CUROs offer student care services with enrichment programmes tie up with their affliated branches - Learning Point & Hua Cheng. They personalise and reschedule the enrichment time slots around every individual student’s school & external commitments. They give frequent weekly homework update I.e school & enrichment Ting Xie and spelling. The enrichment class update will be provided by the respective teachers after every class. The communication with parents over the student’s progress is also very prompt and reliable. CUROs offer holistic indoor and outdoor programme (sch hols) which makes studying so much more fun! During the school holidays, they organize nature walks, musical & indoor playground. The kids also take part in interesting group work projects such as running a restaurant & how to design structure to prevent egg from breaking using every day’s items. Student care can be fun and holistic aside from homework! CUROs is beyond the average after school student care, they are exceptional! I highly recommend CUROs!!

Guang Jin Learning Centre is priced at the mid-range tier for student care in Singapore. Exact monthly fees should be confirmed directly with the centre, as rates can vary by programme and the child's school level. Beyond the monthly fee, families should ask about a one-off registration fee, a deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees), and any costs for uniforms or insurance. Childcare and student care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted monthly figure should be the amount you pay. See the full student care cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in eligible student care centres may qualify for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$150 per month, depending on the centre's registration with ECDA. The Working Mother's Child Development Fund provides additional support for mothers working at least 56 hours per month. Income-tested households may access further means-tested subsidies on top of these. Permanent resident children are generally eligible for partial subsidies at lower quantum levels. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically, so families should consult the ECDA website directly for current figures and confirm with Guang Jin Learning Centre whether it is registered to administer these subsidies. Note that subsidy eligibility is ultimately determined by ECDA, not the centre itself.
Student care places at popular centres can fill several months in advance, with demand peaking for the January school intake. It is generally advisable to enquire at least three to six months before your intended start date, and earlier if you are seeking a place for the beginning of the academic year. To secure a slot, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. These are usually non-refundable if you withdraw after a place has been confirmed, so families should be reasonably certain before committing. Contact Guang Jin Learning Centre directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's preferred start month.
