The hob itself is fantastic—it has a sleek design that fits perfectly in my kitchen and the powerful burners provide excellent heat control for everything from light simmering to heavy frying. A huge shoutout to the technician, Mr Nathan who came to install it. He was highly professional, punctual, and took great care to ensure the hob was fitted securely and neatly. He even took the time to explain the safety features and give me maintenance tips. A friend recommended Hoe Kee Superstore and we had a great experience from start to finish. We were served by Ann, a very experienced and patient salesperson who gave good recommendations after understanding our needs, with no hard selling at all. She also shared helpful tips on how to clean and maintain the toilet bowl and basin. We purchased all the necessary fittings for the toilet bowl and basin (such as taps and pipes) from her as well, and everything was well matched. The first toilet bowl and basin were installed on January 14, 2026 by Ah Huat from Hoe Kee Hardware, and the job was done neatly and professionally. He even cleared up all the debris, which we really appreciated. Because of the good experience, we went back on January 27, 2026 to look for Ann again for our second set. She quickly arranged the installation for February 7, and we specially requested Ah Huat again. Once again, the installation was smooth, neat, and completed within an hour. Very happy with both the sales and installation team.

Bought a toilet bowl from Hoe Kee many many years ago. Recently water keeps flowing non-stop. Asked a plumber to replace the inlet valve. To my surprise the plumber told me the valve cannot be replaced as the toilet bowl I hv is not for HDB used!!! There is no way to access the below piping and replace the valve. Been buying stuff from Hoe Kee for so many years now then I realised I've been conned 😔. Jus to share tis info hope everyone can take note of this. Leaving with no choice wait till the bowl cannot be used will replace a new one. Definitely not from Hoe Kee!

Unacceptable Service, Misleading Stock Information & Zero Accountability. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have had, especially from a retailer that claims to be reputable. I pre-ordered and fully paid for my items in end October 2025 and was explicitly told that ALL products were in stock at the point of sale. However, when I contacted Hoe Kee in early January 2026, with my renovation already 99% completed, I was suddenly informed that 2 items were actually out of stock and that I would need to wait until end January 2026. In the same conversation, when I checked on the status of my kitchen tap, I was shocked to be told to check with the IMM branch myself, because the sales lady, Dawn, was “in charge of Jalan Besar branch only.” It is completely unreasonable for customers to be asked to chase between branches on their own — basic internal coordination is clearly a customer service responsibility, not the customer’s job. Initially, I was told a refund was possible. Shortly after, I was informed that one item could not be refunded because it was paid using a Climate Voucher, showing inconsistent and unclear communication. A few hours later, Dawn contacted me again claiming that 2 pieces of the water tap had been “found” in their inventory and assured me they could be delivered before 6pm. Wanting to resolve the issue quickly, I agreed. When the delivery arrived, the delivery staff was rushing and pressuring me to sign before proper inspection. Upon checking, we found that one tap was delivered without its original box, wrapped in a plastic bag, and had deep visible scratches. This was clearly unacceptable for a new purchase, and we rejected it immediately. What followed was equally disappointing. Dawn did not proactively propose any resolution. I had to personally ask if there were alternative models available. She then mentioned Chrome and Black options without disclosing upfront that these alternatives were significantly cheaper than the original model — only admitting this after I specifically questioned the price difference. Because I needed to move into my house urgently and could not wait until end January, I was effectively forced to accept a cheaper replacement model, potentially forfeiting the remaining value due to Hoe Kee’s inability to fulfil the original order as promised. Overall, this experience reflects poor supply chain management, misleading stock assurances, weak quality control, and fragmented customer service with no ownership. Final warning: If your renovation timeline, budget, or sanity matters, do not rely on Hoe Kee’s stock claims, delivery promises, or after-sales support. Customers should never be expected to chase branches, accept scratched items, or downgrade purchases due to internal failures. Proceed at your own risk.

We bought a few thousands dollars of bathroom and kitchen items from the Hoe Kee Jalan Berseh Branch and was pleasantly serviced by Ms. Lee Ming. Delivery was on time, however, 2 toilets were exchanged very promptly due to technical issues. We are waiting to installed the 2 new toilets by our ID. Shouldn't have any problems as assurred by Winston of HK. I am very confident that Hoe Kee will do the necessaries to help in the successful installations. So far, their response, assistance and professionalism has been most pleasant, merit a 5 star rating. Cheers! Alan Lee
