When planning an event with Jazz Bloom Singapore, begin by contacting the team via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form with your event date, venue, and expected headcount. Entertainment bookings — whether for a live band, DJ, emcee, or other performance format — typically require a site recce or at minimum a venue-spec check to confirm stage dimensions, power supply, PA compatibility, and load-in access. Discuss package versus à la carte options, the performance duration, setup and teardown windows, and any travel charge for venues outside the central region. For weddings, confirm whether the entertainment slot covers the solemnisation, reception, or both, and clarify dialect-group or cultural preferences where relevant. For children's parties and baby full-month celebrations, confirm age-appropriate content and the backup plan should weather or a venue change affect the schedule.
To proceed, reach out to Jazz Bloom Singapore via WhatsApp or the enquiry form with your event date, venue address, and a brief outline of the entertainment scope. Ask for a written quote detailing the deposit requirement (typically 30–50% on signing), the balance schedule, hours of coverage, and the rescheduling or cancellation policy before committing.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm the public liability insurance and any HDB / condo / hotel venue paperwork, and put the deliverables, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing.
This establishment on Haji Lane is a wonderful venue where you can enjoy the performances of skilled musicians. They host jam sessions that welcome other musicians to participate, and you can attend their concerts without a cover charge simply by purchasing something. Additionally, they offer a Happy Hour special from 12 noon to 8 pm, where you can buy one drink and receive two. They also provide excellent food, with a choice between Indian and Western cuisine, both of which are of very high quality.
Nice place with indeed live jazzy music.. Tables inside a bit to n much on top of each other's but I guess that works for only drinks. In had a dinner and quality was so so but pricesc are fair so you shouldn't expect the greatest food. Staff friendly so there's a reason I'm often there when I'm in Singapore.
THE FOOD TRAVELLER REVIEW It's a very lively place after hours. Their happy hours is till 8pm. The foods are served pretty fast considering the crowd. Sausage platter is good. Family naan is if you want to try something special. Recommend to reserve a table before you go down.
I travel so much. But this. Sorry. Could be better. The waiter screwed me and I was clear about what I wanted and for wat price i saw.in Total He srewed me at that moment not saying upfront about the to small printed to small letters and UP 20% so on every 10 an extra 2 dollar No empathie at all He just wanted the money he said not my style The waiter said he did not care at all and that is crazy The band who played was good for that 1 star
This place is absolutely magical. From the vibe and the food to the incredibly friendly crew, everything was on point. However, the highlight was undoubtedly the jazz band. Nothing beats the energy of listening live - no home sound system can reproduce that feeling. I used my Singapore Culture Pass for this, and it was the perfect way to appreciate the Singapore jazz scene. An evening to remember indeed. I will definitely be back now that I’ve discovered this gem.

Jazz Bloom Singapore uses package-based pricing, with the final figure depending on the entertainment format (live band, DJ, emcee, or combined), event duration, headcount, and venue location. Singapore market norms for event entertainment run roughly S$600–3,000+ for a standard event slot, with wedding-specific or multi-act bookings sitting at the higher end. Itemise the full cost before signing: the deposit (typically 30–50% on signing), balance due date, hours of coverage, number of performers or acts included, travel charge for non-central venues, and GST. Ask whether equipment — PA, microphones, lighting rigs — is provided or whether a separate technical rider applies. See the full Entertainment cost guide for Singapore →
For weddings, 6–12 months ahead is strongly recommended, particularly for peak Saturdays in March, April, October, and November, which are the most contested dates in Singapore's event calendar. Popular entertainment acts and live bands at this quality tier book out well in advance. For birthday parties, baby full-month and 100-day celebrations, and corporate functions, 6–12 weeks is generally sufficient, though earlier is safer for specific performer requests or themed entertainment. Confirm whether the booking date is locked in by the deposit and ask about the procedure should the event date need to shift — most reputable vendors allow rescheduling within a defined window without forfeiting the deposit. Wet-weather or venue-change contingencies should also be discussed at the time of booking, especially for events with outdoor components.
The industry standard for Singapore event entertainment is a 30–50% deposit on signing to secure the date, with the remaining balance due 1–2 weeks before the event. Confirm in writing what the deposit covers — typically the date hold and any pre-event planning or rehearsal time — and whether it is refundable or transferable to a future date if you need to cancel. Rescheduling policies vary: most established vendors allow a one-time date change without penalty if notified beyond a minimum notice period, but cancellation within 4–8 weeks of the event often results in deposit forfeiture. Ask about the force-majeure clause covering public-health restrictions or venue closures. Also confirm whether Jazz Bloom Singapore carries public liability insurance — particularly relevant for setups at HDB void decks, condo function rooms, or hotel ballrooms where the venue may require a copy of the certificate before permitting the act.
