I chose Jean Mover based on a friend’s recommendation, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. June, who initially handled my booking, told me over the phone that the move would start at 9 AM and finish by 12 PM. I planned my day accordingly. However, the confirmation she later sent stated that 9 AM to 12 PM was just the arrival window. The movers didn’t arrive until 11:57 AM. By then, I had already started moving kitchen and bathroom items myself. Luckily, I was moving to another floor within the same building, so it was manageable — but I wasn’t given any heads-up, and June didn’t answer my calls. I ended up wasting three hours waiting. If I had simply been informed that they were running late, I could’ve used my time more efficiently. At some point, my contact person was changed from June to Alvin without explanation — I assume they noticed I was unhappy, but no one addressed it directly. I had also ordered 20 boxes, but when I asked the movers, they told me they hadn’t counted them. The overall service felt careless and lacked attention to detail. Even though the movers were three hours late, I still paid the full amount. After the move, I noticed that some curtain hooks were missing — likely during the TV dismount. I messaged Jean just to let her know, but she read the message and didn’t respond. I honestly don’t know what kind of service this is supposed to be. If punctuality and communication aren’t important to you, this company might be fine. But if you value professionalism and clear communication, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
