About Kaleidoscope Singapore

About "Kaleidoscope Singapore"

Kaleidoscope Singapore is a private tuition provider operating islandwide from its registered address at Connection One, Jalan Bukit Merah. The listing is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It carries a Google rating of 4.5 out of 5, though this is drawn from 19 reviews — a small sample, so treat the figure as directional rather than conclusive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific per-session or package fees were not published at the time of listing.

Families considering Kaleidoscope Singapore should begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether the tutor covers MOE primary, secondary, or pre-university syllabuses, or international curricula such as IB or IGCSE. It is worth clarifying whether lessons are conducted one-to-one or in small groups, as this affects both pace and price. Ask whether a trial class is available before committing to a term, and confirm whether sessions are held at the Bukit Merah centre, at the student's home, or online. Term commitment lengths and make-up lesson policies are also worth confirming upfront.

To take the next step, reach out to Kaleidoscope Singapore via phone or the enquiry form listed on their profile. Come prepared with your child's level, subject, and any upcoming examination targets so the team can assess fit and propose a suitable arrangement.

My child attended Kaleidoscope from age 2.5 to 4+. When we first joined, I was told the center had both Speech Therapy (ST) and Occupational Therapy (OT), so there was no need for private sessions. Based on that advice, I stopped external speech therapy. However, the OT at Kaleidoscope later advised us to continue private OT sessions — which we did. Unfortunately, within a few months of joining, my child lost all his spoken words, which was very concerning. I then restarted speech therapy through Kaleidoscope, and while there was some improvement, it was mainly due to the individual ST and OT sessions, not the regular class program (for which we were paying ₹4750 per month). Later, I also added Educational Therapy (ABA-based), and that’s when my child began to recognize numbers, letters, and show gradual progress. My overall impression of Kaleidoscope is that it’s very expensive for the limited progress delivered. However teachers are super nice to deal with.

Therapists and staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. They offer good advices at all times and are very responsive. My child first attended speech therapist and had good results. Therapist is very experienced, patient and observational. She suggest for occupational therapist for other developmental needs. All the therapist are very knowledgeable and able to prescribe activities suitable for child based on their assessments.

My daughter attends the Early Intervention Program (EIP) at Ready Let's Go (RLG), which is run by Kaleidoscope. In her 18 months since joining, she has made tremendous progress in her abilities to speak, socialise and learn, all credit to the unique non-ABA based pedagogy followed by them. Its been an amazing experience for my daughter here, she most importantly enjoys going to her RLG school everyday, the therapists and teachers are very accommodative of every child's unique needs and the weekly regular updates they provide are very insightful. With several special school and therapy centers mushrooming around Singapore (mostly for business prospects due to higher rates of diagnosis these days), Kaleidoscope is one of the most trustworthy institutions I can vouch for! They go by following the child's lead, which I believe is the right strategy. The gyms and classrooms are very big and spacious and clean, well lit up and cozy! The program leads Zanel and Judith are amazing too! As the parent of a special child, it gives me an extreme sense of satisfaction that my daughter is in the best hands at her school! Kudos and hats off to the Ready Let's Go team at Kaleidoscope for their unique EIP program and their accommodative, loving approach to working with the kids!

I have been going to Kaliedoscope with my daughter for the past 2 years It has been one of the most caring and kind places with very experienced therapists. Having a child on the severe end of the spectrum is not easy, but their therapies and their devotion has seen a huge change in her. From a child who sat in a pitch dark room on a swing with her mother, to confidently attending their Ready Let’s Go program…. I never thought I would have the luxury of time to eat or work during therapy sessions. But I am so delighted and amazed with her steady progress. I have been around the world, NYC to LA to India, but having CONSISTENT, EXPERIENCED therapists has been a game changer for our family. I would insist that families allow for every child to deal with their disabilities and issues in a caring and supportive environment. It’s wonderful to be able to think there a possibility, that my child can be happy, independent and healthy. I cannot recommend them and their therapists enough. PS - it also great they have a huge space on two floors with so many gyms!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Kaleidoscope Singapore" charge per session?

Kaleidoscope Singapore has not published specific per-session rates on their listing. In the Singapore private tuition market, rates typically vary by the student's level, subject, and whether the format is one-to-one or group. Individual sessions for secondary or pre-university students from experienced tutors generally range from S$60 to S$120 per hour, while group tuition tends to be lower. Some providers charge a one-time registration or materials fee on top of tuition fees. It is also common for providers to offer monthly packages or term-based commitments at a slight discount compared to pay-per-session rates. Ask whether sibling discounts or multi-subject packages are available. Confirm all fees — including any materials charges — in writing before committing. Can I try a class before committing?

Many tuition providers in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced rate or at the standard per-session fee, to allow students and parents to assess fit before signing up for a full term. It is worth asking Kaleidoscope Singapore directly whether a trial session is available and what the associated cost is. During a trial, pay attention to whether the teaching pace suits your child's current level, whether the tutor's explanation style resonates, and whether the environment feels conducive to focus. A single session is usually sufficient to gauge teaching approach and class dynamic. After the trial, ask for feedback from the tutor on your child's standing and whether they recommend any particular programme or intensity. This is also a good moment to clarify term length, make-up lesson policies, and notice periods before enrolling.

What are the tutor's credentials at "Kaleidoscope Singapore"?

Credential details for tutors at Kaleidoscope Singapore were not published in the listing data available at the time of writing. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask whether tutors hold NIE-trained or MOE teaching backgrounds, their academic qualifications, and how many years of tutoring or classroom experience they have. For syllabus alignment, confirm which examinations the tutor is experienced in — PSLE, O-Level, A-Level, IP, IB, or IGCSE — as preparation strategies differ meaningfully between these. A tutor with recent and direct experience in the target examination is generally preferable. If the provider has multiple tutors on its roster, ask specifically who will be assigned to your child and whether that person may change mid-term. Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
