Parent’s Point of View: - Center’s owner Ms Tan is friendly and responsive. When I have enquiries, she is there to help me; -Two or three teachers bringing the students from De La Salle school to the center with 5 mins walk. Most of the area is sheltered. Save school bus fee; -Teachers can help students with homework and 听写 practice. They also give exercises for the students to do if they don’t have homework to do; -No movie session and no nap time on regular school days. I like this because no wasting the time do homework and play; -Not allow students to use phone in center to avoid misuse (play game etc)by the students; -Mdm Tan let my daughter to join the student care center in Dec 2025 to get familiarise with the environment and people. I think this is very caring. Child’s Point of View: -There are different level of students from De La Salle School. They can play with friends from different levels; -They can hold birthday party (prepared by parents) in the center; -They have two times of outdoor play per week; -They have other activities in the center to do in the center so that they can mingle with other students; -Paid activities are available during school holidays -With the invitation from CC, the students can perform on stage. Before that, Mdm Tan arranges teachers to teach the students (free). This is a good experience for the students.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Discovery Leaners! From the start, the management has been incredibly organized, responsive, and genuinely caring. They run the centre with professionalism and heart, creating a safe and nurturing environment that gives us as parents real peace of mind. The activities planned for the children are not only fun and engaging, but also educational. I’ve noticed how much my child has grown in confidence and independence since joining. I highly recommend this student care center! Previously my sons attended another student care center and they were incredibly bored during that 1 month. I switched them to Discovery Learners 7 months ago and have not look back ever since! My kids have nothing but good words for their student care centre! I did try to get them to think of some negative points and they sheepishly said that if there is no assessment books will be better lol well, I am not complaining about the assessment books though! What I really like about Discovery Learners is that not only do they focus on academic, homework and spelling; there are also play time and outdoor activities! I like my kids to learn through play and social setting. My kids are also thrilled to meet their childcare friends who were in different classes / schools! School holidays were always filled with activities. I always have trouble bring them back home from Discovery Learners or kept them at home during school holidays! It might seems a little chaotic and small inside but seeing how my kids look forward to their student care and how much they adored their teachers and principal especially Mrs Lim and Mdm Tan, and their friends. It is like a second home to them!
