About Learning Leap Student Care

About "Learning Leap Student Care"

Learning Leap Student Care is a student care provider operating at Bukit Timah Road, verified by KakiList and registered with ACRA. It carries a Google rating of 4.4 out of 5, though this is based on 14 reviews — a small sample, so it should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Fees are priced at the mid-range tier ($$) on a monthly recurring basis.

Families considering student care typically begin by enquiring about available slots for their child's intended start month, as places — particularly for lower primary — can be limited. When you contact Learning Leap Student Care, it is worth asking about the daily routine, homework supervision approach, staff-to-child ratio, and the settling-in process. If your child holds Singapore citizenship, you may also be eligible for ECDA subsidies on qualifying student care fees, so it is worth confirming whether the centre is a registered ECDA-approved student care programme.

The most direct next step is to call or submit an enquiry through the contact form listed on this page to check current availability and arrange a centre visit before committing to a place.

We decided on Learning Leap after exploring several student care options nearby, and it’s been a decision we’ve felt great about ever since. The teachers are warm, approachable, and truly responsible in the way they care for the children. They make sure regular spelling and 听写 practice is done and that homework is completed, which has been incredibly helpful for us as working parents. The availability of school bus services from the schools nearby also makes daily logistics much easier. We are also glad that the boys have good amounts of supervised play time (board games, table tennis etc) after their work is done. Learning Leap also plans fun holiday activities for the kids to keep them entertained through the school breaks, such as day trips out to movies or Kidzania! Overall, we highly recommend Learning Leap to any parent looking for a supportive and reliable student care environment.

My son has been attending this student care from P1 to P3, and we’ve been very happy with the experience. The teachers are responsible and supportive, helping him develop his English and Chinese spelling skills. The transport service, accompanied by dedicated teachers, gives us peace of mind knowing he is always safe. We really appreciate how prompt the teachers and the Centre leader are in replying to messages. On days when school is closed, the Centre usually operates full days, which is a huge help for full time working parents. They also thoughtfully arrange transport after CCA at a small additional cost. Beyond academics, my son has made great friends and enjoys playing with them once his work is completed. He’s even picked up chess from his friends, which has been great as a hobby. Overall, it’s a nurturing and well organised environment that we’re grateful to be part of.

The principle and team of teachers are always responsive and provides me with peace of mind when it comes to the well-being of my child ranging from his emotional well being to his studies. He even picks up a new sport at the Centre which is table tennis. He looks forward to playing it with his friends even during the school holidays! The Centre provides us with so much convenience as for additional small fees (very reasonable), they were able to arrange for transport to pick him from school to student centre after CCA. This solved a very real problem for me as i cannot leave work so early to pick him after CCA. He was able to go to a comfortable place where i know he would be taken care of and be kept safe. The teachers would also shelter my child to the car in the event of rain, which is one worry off my list, in addition, to making pick up in bad weather such a breeze. I had switched my child from a school based studentcare to this centre and only wished that i had done it much earlier! My child is also happier with the switch and his only feedback was he hoped that the food served could be tastier. Hopefully, this would be looked into as kids tend to eat well if they enjoy the food! overall, i am very pleased thus far with the highly competent and caring team that manages this studentcare! kudos to Ms Adeline and follow teachers :)

Our boy started with Learning Leap recently and we are very thankful for how things have worked out! He’s been really enjoying the experience. Couple reasons we picked LL and how they have lived up to our expectations: 1) The dedicated transport pick-up from school gives us peace of mind beyond convenience (big plus for working parents anytime) 2) transparent and authentic communication - from the pre-sign up school visit to commencement, communication authentic, as-is. This was a strong factor we chose LL. Meal arrangements were in a communal setting which gave us a homely feel. We also liked that the menu skewed towards being balanced and health-centric

Both my wife and myself are very pleased with Learning Leap Student Care Centre. Ethan Isaac is my 2nd child enrolled here and my elder child, Aiden Isaac, also attended the same centre years ago and has since graduated and will be serving NS in April. Having trusted the centre with both my children, we truly appreciate the consistent care and support provided over the years. The teachers and principal (can be stern at times) are helpful, friendly and approachable. They ensure that school and tuition work are completed on time and the regular spelling practice is beneficial. Updates are prompt, which gives us peace of mind. We are also glad that the food served consists of healthier choices, such as brown rice and less fried food (though the children may not like it as much). This shows that the centre places importance on the children’s well-being. Overall, we are very satisfied and grateful for the dedication shown by the team. Thank you!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Learning Leap Student Care" charge per month?

Learning Leap Student Care uses a monthly recurring fee model, indicated at the mid-range ($$) price tier. To get an exact figure, contact the centre directly, as monthly fees for student care in Singapore vary depending on programme hours (half-day versus full-day), year level, and whether the centre operates under an ECDA-approved scheme. Beyond the monthly fee, ask about any one-time registration fee, a deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months' fees), and incidentals such as uniform or insurance levies. Childcare and student care fees at ECDA-approved centres are GST-exempt for the childcare component of fees. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →

What subsidies can I claim at "Learning Leap Student Care"?

Subsidy eligibility depends on whether Learning Leap Student Care is an ECDA-approved student care centre — confirm this directly with the centre before assuming subsidies apply. For approved centres, Singapore citizen children may qualify for the Basic Subsidy and, where the mother is working at least 56 hours per month, the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy. An Additional Subsidy, income-tested and based on gross monthly household income, may also be available to bring total support higher. Permanent resident children receive partial subsidies at lower rates than citizens. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically, so the most accurate and current figures should be obtained directly from ECDA at ecda.gov.sg rather than relied upon from third-party sources.

Is there a waitlist at "Learning Leap Student Care"?

Waitlists at student care centres in Singapore are common, particularly for Primary 1 and Primary 2 places, which tend to fill early. It is generally advisable to enquire three to six months ahead of your intended start date, with January being the busiest intake month due to the school calendar. To secure a place at Learning Leap Student Care, contact the centre as early as possible to find out current availability. Many centres require a registration fee and a deposit to confirm enrolment. Given that only 14 Google reviews are currently on record — a small sample — it is especially worthwhile to visit the centre in person and speak with staff before committing.
