New clients typically begin with an initial consultation during which the chiropractor takes a case history, assesses posture and range of motion, and may perform orthopaedic or neurological tests before recommending a care plan. It is worth clarifying whether you are seeking relief from a specific condition — such as lower back pain, neck stiffness, headaches, or postural issues — or pursuing ongoing wellness maintenance, as this will shape the frequency and structure of sessions. Ask whether single sessions or care packages are available, the cancellation policy, and whether X-rays are taken on-site or referred out if clinically indicated.
To take the next step, contact Light Chiropractic by phone or through their enquiry form to describe your presenting concern and request an initial consultation appointment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
That must be my worst chiropractic adjustments ever Light Chiropractor boasts to provide a chiropractic adjustment without having to do spinal X-ray. They claim that they provide a “longer” chiropractic adjustment session to justify its pricier price than others. For the first session, an assistant scanned my spine to show a high tension area. My stress level was also checked with another device. This was more as a gimmick since that chart was only seen once before the “adjustment” and no additional scans were done AFTER the “adjustment” to show any improvement. After waited an additional 10 min (20-25 min gone), Theo came in to start doing some checks. During my session, Theo moved in and out the room several times after each adjustment. I spent most the 50-60 min session just lying down waiting for him. This was quite uncomfortable especially during COVID period since my face was covered fully with my face mask, so breathing was difficult. IMHO, his technique is a bit different that what I used to from other chiropractor. With Theo, there was no heat pad/strong pressure to a problematic location to relaxed my tense muscles, no facia gun treatment, no stretching, no nothing. During the adjustment, don’t expect him to give you an instruction to relax, long exhale and be ready before he launched his “140 mph” adjustment. He kept talking about other matter while doing my lumbar adjustment, so honestly I was not fully relaxed when it was adjusted and I felt nothing moved/popped. Same thing with my cervical/neck adjustment, nothing popped / cracked / moved, I only felt more terrible and dizzy. Only during my thoracic (upper back) adjustment, my spine moved and popped, releasing the tension. And that was the end of the first session ($190), total active adjustment is Made me worried, so I did an X-Ray scan follow up, no dislocated disk!!! And that was the end of my 30 min second session ($130), total active adjustment
First adjusted by Dr Theo 4 years ago and now I am still getting adjustments from him. Dr theo is very committed to provide the best service, as he will spend extra time to talk to his clients and show his care and concern, as well as giving ample time for us to rest instead of rushing through and clearing the queue like some other clinic would. I have scoliosis for a long time and often i go in with back pain, his adjustments would help me to relief my pain and improve my condition the next day! Am so thankful for his solid adjustment skills. Location is always convenient and easy to access. It used to be at clarke quay central and now located next to raffles place mrt. Place is clean and quiet as well. Session is around 30-45 mins for existing clients, so be prepared to wait a while sometimes because the clinic is filled with a lot of clients!
I first saw Dr Theo on 20 October 2023. He is highly recommended by my nephew who is also his patient. I have scoliosis for many years and saw a chiropractor 10 years ago with only first visit and I gave up due to the fear of cracking. My pain is on only left side of the lower body and it has been bothering me. I have been to physiotherapy and even tui na but to no avail and the pain persists. Upon sharing with my nephew, who had plagued by lower back pain for 20 years, convinced me to see Dr Theo and here I am today under the care of Dr Theo! Due to constant pain, I have lost hope in getting help. I even asked friends who went to chiropractor how many sessions to see results – many told me around 6-7 sessions. My first visit, as usual, the full assessment by Dr Theo’s assistant who thoroughly explained the reason of this assessment. It took about half an hour and shortly I was brought into another room to see Dr Theo, a very pleasant gentleman! He reviewed the scan and mentioned I could have slipped disc which he said many people may not aware and he even said I might need to do and MRI to confirm further. I am also in the healthcare industry for the last 20 years and I fully understand if I do not cooperate with the doctor, nothing fruitful will come out of the session hence I gave the green light to go ahead with MRI. Next, Dr Theo began his work with assessment and cracking. I don’t deny at that moment I was very tense and overwhelmed with my fear as usual however, Dr Theo assured me he would not hurt me during the performance and he continued to explain how the spine function. In between adjustment by Dr Theo, he stopped after each adjustment. I am glad he is doing that as it gives my body time to rest before the next adjustment begins. Incidentally, at the end of first session, Dr Theo mentioned an MRI of the spine IS NOT REQUIRED!! This is the kind of doctor who doesn’t order investigations unnecessarily! Last week was my 3rd session with Dr Theo and I am doing well with no pain so far. It’s amazing right when I was expecting what many people shared that only 6-7 sessions, I will see results. Now, I look forward to my sessions with Dr Theo. He is amazing and I will not hesitate to recommend anyone with spine or lower back pain or neck pain to see Dr Theo!! You will surely feel better. Last but not least, his staff are so approachable and they certainly make you very comfortable too. We need more people like them!!
Got into a motorcycle accident few months back. Due to the accident My posture of upper body and neck was quite off, my finger too. So I decide to try my first chiropractic session to get myself adjusted to how my body was before the accident. First session, did a scan and was able to see why I feel so tense in some area. After which had a consultation with Theo to let him understand my situations. Than had the first session of adjustment which I felt very refreshing and “straightened up”. As of now I’ve been to at least 5 sessions I’m feeling a lot better. Especially my back it’s tension around the lower back is lesser and upper back is back to how it’s like before my accident. Will intro to those who are always doing strenuous exercise to go for it. Overall my experience with light chiropractic was a pleasant and comfortable one.
My family and I have been coming to Dr Theo for the last 3 years and we have always felt great (and balanced) after adjustments. He is passionate and dedicated to his craft, and one of the very rare chiropractors where sessions take longer than just 10 mins, because he allows the body to rest as he adjusts various parts. He provides adjustments for kids and pregnant women too. The team here have been amazing as well! I highly recommend his craft!

Light Chiropractic displays mid-range ($$) pricing, but specific session fees were not listed at the time of this entry. In Singapore, chiropractic consultations typically run S$80–150 for an initial assessment and S$60–120 for follow-up adjustments. No GP referral is required to book a chiropractic session in Singapore, though having one can support an insurance claim if your policy covers chiropractic care. At Light Chiropractic, the initial visit is likely structured as a full intake — expect a case history review, postural assessment, and orthopaedic or neurological tests before any adjustment is performed. If you have a history of osteoporosis, recent fracture, spinal surgery, inflammatory arthritis, or are pregnant, disclose this at booking so the chiropractor can advise on any contraindications or modifications. Bring any relevant imaging (X-rays, MRI reports) from prior treatment to your first appointment.
Chiropractic practice in Singapore is not yet regulated under a statutory licensing board in the same way as physiotherapy (AHPC) or TCM (TCMPB). There is no public government register to cross-check individual chiropractors against at this time. Voluntary membership of the Chiropractic Association of Singapore (CAS) is the primary professional trust signal — members are expected to hold a recognised chiropractic degree (typically a 5-year Doctor of Chiropractic programme accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education or an equivalent body). Before booking, ask the practitioner directly for their degree institution, graduation year, and whether they hold CAS membership or any post-graduate specialisation credentials. No regulatory licences were listed for Light Chiropractic at the time of this entry — confirm practitioner qualifications directly with the clinic.
