Families considering student care should begin by enquiring about available slots for their child's intended start month, as places can fill quickly, particularly at the start of the school year in January. When you make contact via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form, ask about the daily routine, homework supervision arrangements, the staff-to-child ratio, and how the settling-in period is managed for new pupils. It is also worth clarifying whether the programme is structured around primary school hours and whether early drop-off or late pick-up options are available. Singapore citizen children may be eligible for ECDA subsidies, so confirm with the centre which subsidy schemes apply.
As a practical next step, reach out directly through WhatsApp or phone to check current vacancy for your child's level and to arrange a visit to the Tampines centre before committing.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

I'm happy to chance upon Little Earth Edu while finding Rubik's cube class for my son. Their responses are very apt. I opted for 1-to-1 and 6yo could solve the cube within 3 weeks (total 6 hours). The teacher was very patient and lovely, and just when we thought an additional class is needed, she told us he is good on his own already and just need to practise his speed. The centre is located near tampines hub, making it the perfect location for parents to wait around. The environment is also very nice and safe given that it is a student care centre. We will be back to learn more types of cubes as requested by my child after he masters his speed for 3by3. Highly recommended!!!
My Primary 2 son has been attending Little Earth Education Student Care since January, and weโve been very pleased with the experience. The teachers are caring and attentive โ they ensure he completes his school homework, learns his spelling and ๅฌๅ, and take time to engage him through a variety of enrichment activities after school. Itโs reassuring to know that his work is well taken care of, so I need not worry about it after picking him up. A nurturing and structured environment where learning continues in a joyful way.
My son thinks the art classes here are really great! He enjoys the lessons and always looks forward to attending. The centre also provides excellent homework guidance, which has really helped him improve. As for myself, his mother, I really appreciate the flexibility that the centre provides, the teachers are very accommodating to changes, and the centre is always responsive and easy to communicate with. Weโre very happy with our experience here!
My child joined Little Earth and it has really changed how he feels about going to student care. The teachers are very caring and always find ways to engage him. He actually looks forward to going every day now, unlike his previous student care where he often felt unhappy. The centreโs values fit well with our family, and the teachers also keep us updated about how he is doing in school. We also like the variety of holiday programmes they plan as they are fun and meaningful.
I have had the best experience in here during the school holidays. We will get to go for fun experiences every Friday during the holidays. The teachers are very friendly, kind and caring. All of them are all professional at different things so that they can help your child with their needs. The teachers are also able possess authority. Overall, they are trustworthy.

Little Earth Education Student Care operates on a monthly recurring fee model, placing it at the mid-range ($$) tier for student care in Singapore. Exact monthly fees are not published on the listing, so you will need to contact the centre directly to confirm current rates for your child's age group and programme. Beyond the monthly fee, ask about a registration fee (typically charged once on enrolment), a deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months' fees), and any costs for uniforms, activity materials, or basic accident insurance. Childcare and student care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted monthly figure should be your all-in cost for the core programme. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore โ
Singapore citizen children enrolled in ECDA-licensed student care centres may be eligible for government subsidies. The Basic Subsidy provides up to S$300 per month for childcare, while the Additional Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy (WMS) offers further support for mothers working at least 56 hours per month. An Additional Subsidy, means-tested by household income, can bring total combined support up to around S$710 per month in some cases. Permanent resident children may qualify for partial subsidies at reduced rates. However, please note that Little Earth Education Student Care does not currently list an ECDA licence in its regulatory details on KakiList. Subsidy eligibility is contingent on the centre holding ECDA licence status, so you should confirm this directly with the centre and verify on the ECDA website before assuming any subsidy applies. Subsidy quantum and eligibility criteria are subject to change โ always refer to ECDA for the most current figures.
Student care places in popular centres, particularly those located near primary schools or in well-served estates like Tampines, can fill several months ahead of the intended start date. January is the peak intake month, aligned with the start of the Singapore school year, so families targeting a January start should ideally enquire three to six months in advance. To secure a slot, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and, in some cases, a deposit. It is advisable to contact Little Earth Education Student Care directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to check current availability for your child's level before making any payment. Ask specifically whether there is a waiting list and what the process is to be notified if a place becomes available.
